Personality
Chrysalis can be a seductress, most would perceive her as rather arrogant and unlikable, though. her hunger for attention and admiration is almost as big as her hunger for love and power. She is very quick to use and abuse others for her purposes and she can play nice when she has a personal gain from it.
The only people Chrysalis truly loves are her children, her changelings that are her subjects, workers, soldiers and loyal followers. Over the centuries only few have ever questioned her or her methods. She holds a grudge against all ponies and is very racist when it comes to it. Getting on her good side is much easier for non-ponies than it is for ponies. She is a liar and will manipulate you if she gets the chance. When she says she loves you chances are high she just says that to give you a false feeling of security around her. Though it is not impossible for her to actually like and love others, if you manage to get through to her heart she makes for a very useful and amazing ally.
She will never say no if you offer yourself to feed on. She will happily drain you of your love
Appearance
The changeling Queen has four hooves, a tail and the general built of a lithe alicorn pony but also insect-like features. Her body is covered by a firm chitin. She has long, slender legs that are spotted with holes that were a result of immense use of magical power in the past. At least that is what Chrysalis thinks, their true origin is unknown. The corruption of her body, the decaying flesh has not gotten any worse over the past centuries though, which is why she has not bothered with it in a long time. Her children inherit this physical corruption. Her mane is teal, her hair silky and soft. Many would think it looks wet because it falls so straight. Usually she wears it just how it falls, a single strain of it over her face that often gets in the way of her vision. Along her neck her mane makes the impression of having holes in it like her limbs, which is an illusion that is caused by its unique texture. Despite how thin it is, it is very strong. Chrysalis eyes have dragon-like dagger-shaped pupils, surrounded by an iris of multiple shades of green, a poisonous gaze that often leaves those she glares at intimidated. She has sharp, white teeth and four fangs that show when she smiles. She has an exceptionally long, red tongue, at its full size easily long enough to touch the floor without her having to lower herself. Her very capable and flexible tongue can with ease coil around a pony's hoof multiple times and provide a firm, slimy grasp.
