Friendship Letters

Dear Princess Luna,
Hi! I've never been very good at writing letters to people who I thought where authority figures, not that you aren't one, or writing letters in general. I see you more of a friend from afar, even though I've never met you. I feel this way because whenever I was working long nights back in manehatten, your stars were always there to be beautiful and help me through the hard times, thanks. I picked you to write this to because of that, and I figured you were a bit underappreciated.
I suppose I'm writing this letter to tell you my story, I've only ever told this to one other person, and I felt like I needed to get it off my chest and have somebody hear it.
I was born in Manehatten, in the Harlem area to two loving parents, and it stayed that way till I was a few years old. My family fell on hard times and my father started to drink, going into heavily drunken rages, most of the time taken out on me and my mother. one day I got up the courage to call the cops and life got better from then on. I made it all the way to college without getting my cutie mark, honestly, i didn't really care at the time, I still don't have it. before my second and final year of college, tragedy struck, and my mother passed away. I dropped out of college and began work life.
a few years later, Everything changed. I met the man of my dreams, and his name was Lightning Chip. we met, started dating and a few months later we moved in together. and a few years later we got married and had our child Evangeline.
The next eighteen years were picturesque, Eva grew up to get into a wonderbolt prep school and before that, we lived like a happy family. and that's where we are now. Eva is off to school and we are living happily ever after.
I suppose I rambled a lot in this, and it went on for much longer than I intended, but I hope you find my story interesting, and thanks for listening..... or reading.
Sincerely,
Pink Serendipity
