Anomaly 142683
Profile And Status
Codename '1'
Anomaly 142683, otherwise known simply as '1' is a relatively harmless and docile anomaly, but it can be angered. It can take multiple forms, but it is usually a 'black sphere' with the size of a basketball and it can float around. It supposedly can be picked up, and, from our matterscans, would probably weigh about the same as a basketball or similar. Reasons as to why it can float are unknown. It can also communicate, through Morse Code, Binary and sometimes text flashing on itself. These 'transmissions' as it (the anomaly) calls them, happen at almost random times, and they also last random times. At around the date [redacted], one of the testing crew left a laptop in the anomaly's vincinity, and the anomaly started to interact with it, by starting to type a 'transmission' in a .txt format document. What the document said is unknown, but it may be able to be retrieved at some point. Further on in research of it, we have tested what types of electronics the anomaly can interact with, and it can apparently interact with anything that has any type of output, usually a screen, but devices such as robotic arms or robotic vacuum cleaners have been interacted with by it as well. The anomaly needs the device to be in working condition, however. Recently the anomaly had somehow 'interacted' with a device outside of its containment chamber, and it started to log onto a site called C[redacted]e. What else happened is unknown. The anomaly has recently shown some traits similar to emotions, as well as senses, for example, it moves away from hot objects (temperature sensitivity), and starts moving in circles if it is put in an enclosed, completely empty room (boredom).
The anomaly's current status is stable, and we have provided it some 'entertainment': areas where it can move around, as well as some electronic devices, including musical instruments and a laptop. Currently, it seems contained and unlikely to break out.s if it is put in an enclosed, completely empty room (boredom).
