I thought I ought to jot down some concept of the mascot personalities to help those few who are participating in the writing contest!
Sunshine Serenade is a happy go lucky mare. She takes things as they come and enjoys the warmth of friends and family. She's optimistic, with a glass half full type of logic. 'Sunny' as ponies like to call her, likes to be helpful towards strangers, and is likely known to donate quite a lot to charities as well as volunteer at animal shelters and soup kitchens for homeless ponies. Despite all this, Sunny is known to tire herself out due to her constant flying around doing activities. She can snap when under too much pressure and/or stress, making her melt down and become bedridden for weeks.
Misty Nights is said to be a cool, calm and reflective mare. She is almost elegant in nearly everything she talks about. She is a lover of reading and writing, and is often found in libraries with a mountain of books. She enjoys topics of history, mystery and learning about the adventures of famous explorers. Misty, as her best friend Sunshine Serenade calls her, is rather curious and likes to discover secrets. And while Misty is trustworthy and an excellent listener, she indulges too much in gossip and will document almost anything you say that she deems important (even if it is negative). Being a bat, she will stay up to the early hours of the morning. So she is commonly tired towards midday.

A lot of people said similar statements about the art contest and yet still all are encouraged to join. If you feel like you can roleplay then it's hardly as though we'll turn our nose up.
