Looking at the pocket watch that she held in her soft blue magic aura, Crystal felt a mixture of annoyance and reluctance about what was going to take place, though she had promised she would go through with this, it was best to get this over now, if only it were to stop the seemingly never ending flow of requests that seemed to pop up in her mailbox lately.
The past weeks had been somewhat stressful, besides her regular training schedule there were now also nearly daily letters from either creatures who wanted to know more about her daily training routine, or there were invites for interviews that annoyingly so graced her mailbox, to a point she actually started to wonder if training in public places had been such a great idea after all in the end.
After one more glance at her pocket watch, the pale blue mare sighed and put the pocket watch back into her breast pocket, it was time to face the music...step out of the shadows she had always been so familiar with, in exchange for what could end up as her least favorite option, the blinding spotlights that came with her title as champion Swordsmare.
The moment she had stepped into the Canterlot located cafe, she was greeted formally by one of the waiters, after stating her name and that of the pony she was meeting for the interview, she was led to a more private section of the cafe, as she took in her surroundings, she felt a mixture of discomfort and distaste, the luxurious interior and formal atmosphere were reminding her of past situations she would rather forget, though it was hard to forget or completely lose a part of yourself that you disliked, in her case it would be like wanting to change being from a unicorn to a pegasi, absolutely impossible...
She snapped out of her thoughts, as she arrived at the table where a seemingly annoyed unicorn reporter was waiting, she had only been about five minutes late, mainly because of her hesitation to go through with this, after they placed their order for a drink and a tray with a variety of small Hors d'oeuvre, the reporter gave a smile that seemed somewhat forced, Crystal forced a smile of her own with a polite nod, this promised to be a interesting interview, though luckily her tongue could be as sharp as her rapier, she may seem like a timid and silent type on the outside, though beneath the surface there was a inferno of emotions and personality, and if needed she would show it, but for now...she would see where this interview would lead to, she would proof she was as fierce out here as she was during her matches
