The Doctor
.Post in Stuck in time
When you get to the barn, you see someone coming out of the flames, a brown pony with a hourglass cutie mark, he's carrying a pony on his back, on looking you realize that it's Derpy "Hello everyone, i'm the Doctor and that is my friend Derpy"
Okay so I don’t know if requesting a specific ship or character is a thing thats done here?? Since I’m pretty new to Canterlot Avenue in general, but I have some serious feelings about Sunset and really just want to explore her in a romantic relationship it doesnt matter if its in the EQG universe or Equestria itself or somewhere else entirely and while I would love it forever if someone wanted to play the Twilight to my Sunset I would be happy to ship Sunset with pretty much any girl cause girls are awesome and Sunset thinks so too. So yeah feel free to respond if this interests you at all.

<p><p>Hm. You know what? Count me in.</p></p> <p><p></p></p> <p><p>Star Catcher</p></p> <p><p>History: Star Catcher hails from Butterfly Island, a tropical paradise to the East of Equestria that the Pegasi had established as a land base proceeding the conflict between pony tribes. Butterfly Island is, to the pegasus ponies, a promised land of sorts; at the time of the war, there was no way for unicorns or earth ponies to safely travel out to sea far enough to find the island, and any pony who was brave enough to venture forth and lucky enough to travel in the right direction found themselves drifting away from the island, as pegasi above controlled the winds and could prevent the would-be invaders from ever touching down upon the shore.</p> <p>When the war ended, and Equestria was founded, the ships stopped. Pegasi came across the ocean to let their kin know that peace had been made, and there was no need for further hostilities. The mainland was safe once again. Many of the pegasi took the opportunity to migrate back to the mainland, but a small faction broke off as a pegasi colony; the land was bountiful enough that earth pony hooves were not needed to cultivate. In time, Butterfly Island became more and more secluded, as only a select few Pegasi even bothered to remember and keep track of its existance.</p> <p>Without the rest of Equestria, the Pegasi of Butterfly Island adopted a tribal-like culture. Stories of the Horned Ones and the Stronghoofs were passed down from generations, as the ponies of the island lived together to make a fair living in harmony with the land.</p> <p>Star Catcher's gift to her people is insight. With a glance, she can discern a pony's demeanor, if a pony is under a particularly strong emotion, she can sense why, within reason. Star is a sympathetic mare, and one who tries to help everyone she meets, but strong enough emotions, or a wish made in one's heart with no selfish intent can drive her to act to grant the deepest desires of the pony's heart.</p></p>

<p>The mare followed close behind, scared and confused as she had been this entire time, but even in these trying times, it warmed her heart just a bit to see ponies congregating to care for and protect one another. She could see that the robed ponies were tending to those who had been trampled underhoof, but because their backs were turned, she could not see the horns.</p> <p>Slowly she walked through the small shelter that the group of ponies had taken refuge in, the mare trembling with each step. These ponies were hurt. Scared. The young, and those who didn't care what others thought about their personal image, wept openly. It made the mare sick to her stomach to not immediately dart to help, but she knew that to act without thinking, in what she had already to be discovered to be the site for an imminent battle, would get her killed.</p> <p>"Excuse me..." she spoke, glancing to the mare reading to the foals, her ears pinning back as she stared at the mare - or, more specifically, her horn, her expression locked in terror as she observed the point upon the mare's head.</p> <p><em>A Horned One.</em> Stunned, her eyes darted about the other ponies, only now noticing other ponies. Many of them were also Horned Ones; significantly less had no horns or wings. Many of the pegasi refugees were young; were the parents involved in the fighting, or were they elsewhere? Did they leave foals like this to fend for themselves at a young age?</p> <p>The mare whimpered, her ears pinning back as she focused back on the robed unicorn in front of her, the out-of-place mare trying her hardest not to stare at the horn that extruded atop her skull.</p>

The mare could see the guards around the area, her right ear flicking once as she watched one of the Horned ones running over toward another part of the clearing. She didn't pay him much mind, but she could help but notice a strange hourglass marking on his foreleg. She blinked, her ears pinning back. Aside from being an interesting tattoo, why did she find her gaze drawn to it? Nonetheless, the stallion ran off, and the sensation subsided. Deciding not to think too much about it in the present moment, the mare glanced up at the sky, her eyes widening as she watched a number of birds swoop down to meet the pegasus guards in the air. From the ground, she could see the bloody carnage above. Her legs trembled, and she could feel her resolve wavering. Nonetheless, she shook her head, her gaze returning to the ground as she spread her wings. "The ponies here need me. They need each other. They need hope." she spoke, to nopony in particular, her ears pricking up as she stepped out toward the line of guards who had stationed themselves in front of the chapel. "Is there a spare spear you can loan me?" she questioned, the needs of the ponies she had silently sworn to protect guiding her words and actions. It had been years since the pegasi of Butterfly Island had needed to fight. That said, it was not an uncommon practice for the pegasi of the island to challenge each other in ceremony and as a means to improve oneself. Ever since Commander Hurricane had lead a small contingent of ponies to the Island as a means to preserve the race, the lessons they had learned had been integrated into their culture. Now, it was time for those lessons to be put to use, for the defense of ponykind.

At this point, Star had plenty to be worried about. After all, she was in the middle of a city under attack, with no idea how she got here or why she had been summoned, surrounded by beings that she'd lived her entire life not knowing existed; all she had to go off of was the legends she had heard about the unicorns and earth ponies back when they had been raised for war. "Celestia?" she questioned, glancing back at the unicorn. Was she some sort of higher being? A goddess? She couldn't be sure, but given the robes and charitable actions of the unicorn and the similarly dressed ponies, she could only assume that these mares seemed to treat her as some sort of deity. "I'm sorry, I'm just... lost... in a manner of speaking. Could you tell me who Celestia is?" she questioned.

Was she crazy? Quite possibly. But she knew what needed to be done. As she took the spear in hoof, donning the inner layer of the guard's chest piece but leaving the metal plate mail behind, she glanced up at the sky above, wondering if Commander Hurricane had ever felt this way. She twirled the spear in her hooves, the mare taking a moment to get a feel for its weight, before crouching down, massive wings unfurling as she took to the skies in a powerful jump, and a heavy flap of her wings that brought her up to the combat airspace. Down below, the guards looked to be holding out reasonably well. Star could see that one pony was doing a particularly fine job driving the monsters away. But if the pegasi could not control the air in this fight, the monsters would be able to strike the city from anywhere, and its defense would be an impossible task. She watched the aerial combat, her eyes narrowing as she looked in, unable to recognize the ponies' combat style. With the smaller bodies, Star would have hoped the pegasi could fight quicker, move about more spryly, dart in and out of danger. As it was, she could see that the armor's weight was holding the battalion down against the larger and faster crows. They couldn't get the speed needed to build momentum, and anypony that tried to retreat was too slow to get very far. The mare glanced upward, her wings taking her further and further up, beyond the clouds. Against a larger opponent such as these, what the pegasi needed was momentum. As she made her way up to the clouds, she climbed upon one, glancing down at the fighting below. Her eyes narrowed, the mare focusing her aim as she jumped from the clouds with a powerful flap, hovering in the air for just a moment before quickly dropping into a dive, her wings folding in to minimize drag as she held her spear at the ready, the mare aiming to strike at the heart of the nearest crow.

Star pursed her lips, but held her tongue. She'd heard that, long ago, the hostilities between the pony tribes had ended. Her ancestors had told her that it was the last time anyone had ever visited the island. But that had only been a few generations back, nowhere near the "centuries" that this hooded mare was claiming. "I understand." she replied, her ears pinning back as she dipped her muzzle into the bowl. The soup was warm, comforting. She'd have to get the recipe, even if there was a strong chance she'd never be able to remake it when she got home. she got home. "The way you speak of her, though, you make it sound like she's lived that long. That's not possible, is it? From my understanding, living more than a hundred years was quite the accomplishment." she spoke, frowning. Was "Princess Celestia" a title that the mare in charge inherited? Glancing about a bit more, she could see that the building they had been escorted to was a grand structure. The glass windows depicted a white mare with a mane with all the colors of the sunrise, with a long horn and grand wings that looked to stretch out bigger than even her own, with the rising sun etched in the stained glass behind her. Truly, the mare had to admit, the mare depicted here was stunningly beautiful.

The out-of-place pegasus could feel the rush of blood coming to her face. Without a second though, the mare hid her face behind her wings. "I... I see." she responded from behind her wings, though the idea of immortality brought some worrying concerns to mind. The notion of being able to live for hundreds, potentially thousands of years, to see everyone you love die, was a frightening thought to the mare. For now though, she glanced back at the doorways, at the ponies standing guard outside the chapel. "The beings outside, the ones that have everypony up in arms. Clearly they've been giving you trouble for some time. The guards appeared to know exactly what it was they were up against, and if the crowd here is any indication, they've chased quite a few ponies out of their settlements. You don't know how to beat them, or you would have done so by now. And now they've brought the fight to this city. With how many guards there are, you either had advanced notice, or this is one of the few major settlements left standing." she spoke, her ears pinning back as she stood up, drifting toward the doorway. She could feel the hopelessness in the air, the whimpers of foals and adults alike. Star wasn't a fighter, any experience she had using a polearm was strictly dedicated to the use of fishing spears. But, for the sake of these ponies, she could lead. She could give them some hope. She could hear the hearts of all these ponies, crying out for salvation, to see their families safe. Her ears pinned back, as she stepped out of the chapel, a determination burning in her soul to see these ponies safe.
This story takes place after Boast Busters, and before Trixie went to work on the Rock Farm. After being shown up by Twilight, news of the "Great and Powerful Trixie's" fraudulent performances had been broadcast throughout the land. Most ponies didn't pay this any mind - after all, who was this Trixie, and why should they care? - but ponies who had been amazed by her performances were now less receptive toward the mare. With her wagon destroyed by the Ursa Minor, Trixie needed to find shelter fast, preferably somewhere she wouldn't get laughed out of town in a heartbeat. First things first, she needed a new wagon. And, since she'd always been good at stage magic, where better to turn to then the big Wing itself, Los Pegasus? For this roleplay, I'm seeking actors. Directors. Stagehooves. Ponies who could give Trixie a chance to shine on-stage, or rivals to try to pull the spotlight out from under her. Ponies willing to teach Trixie a few new tricks to improve her performance, if they could find her appeal past her ego.

It was a good thing they had started to retreat, too - after the fifth or so dive, the mare wasn't sure how well she could keep this up. These spears hadn't been designed for combat quite like this, and the high-intensity motion was beginning to wear her out. Below her, she could hear the relieved cheers of the Pegasi, but down at the church, she could see the panic that had risen again. Taking a deep breath, the mare dropped down to ground level, touching down among the ponies who had been sent to defend the chapel courtyard as she cast off the leather guard and spear. she spoke, her ears perking up as she realized she'd spoken rather loudly.

<p>As most ponies were huddled away in their homes, with only the guards and the Princesses actively doing their rounds, it was easy to miss the blue shine that had appeared in an alleyway, the alabaster pegasus appearing amidst a few pieces of rubble from the nearby buildings. Clearly, the capital of Equestria had seen better days. She'd been taken in her sleep, the summoning magic smoothly transitioning her from the warm leaves and sandy beaches of the island she came from to the dusty pavement in front of an abandoned Saddle-Arabian themed restaurant.</p> <p>Slowly the magic faded away, the mare's ears perking as she caught a commotion off in the distance. Her eyes opened, the mare lifting her head as she glanced about, squinting, the mare quickly entering a state of full alert when she realized she was no longer on Butterfly Island. Her ears pinned back, the mare's wings quivering as she crouched down into a low profile, looking up at the restaurant buildings that towered over her. Panic took over her mind, and she drew into a full gallop, out into the Canterlot Streets.</p>

Compared to what she had just gone through in the skies, speaking to these ponies was an easy task. Even as she worked to calm the ponies, she could feel the adrenaline rush dying down, her legs buckling as energy gave way to exhaustion. At last, one pony at a time, the riot subsided, the priest and the other followers of Celestia helping to keep the crowd placated. As the mare worked, her gaze drifted skyward. Why had they left all of a sudden? As dangerous as she must have seemed to them, she could only attack one every time she went down into a dive. They had the numbers advantage, and it had looked as if taking one on required the joint efforts of five pegasi. Frowning, the mare nodded once to the priest, letting him know she would be alright before taking back up to the skies, where she saw Entropy and the Hunter on the ground. She couldn't hear what was being said from the skies, but her intuition was telling her that this wasn't going to have a pretty ending.

<p> </p> <p>The large pegasus nodded slowly, the mare glancing about the room at the other groups of ponies that had melded together into little congregations; each of them had at least one such robed pony in common. Cautiously she nudged herself forward, setting herself down into the small congregation as she stared down at the soup that had been poured into a bowl and laid out for her.</p> <p>From smell alone, the mare knew all too well she couldn't recognize the herbs. After all, where she came from, herbs like this didn't exactly exist, leaving fruits and the occasional fish as the majority of her diet growing up. Nonetheless, a quick glance around the area showed multiple ponies eating from the bowls, so any pretense that the soup was poisoned was a false notion. She watched as some of the ponies ate - or rather, watched as most of the unicorns' bowls began to glow different colors and lift up to their lips. Her ear flicked, and she glanced back down at the soup, her hooves setting upon the bowl for just a moment before quickly flinching back, hooves now a bit tender from the heat.</p> <p>"Sorry - just... are you alright? Does it hurt?" she asked, her eyes slowly trailing up to the horn. "N-No, that's not right, I mean... how are you doing that... that *thing* with the lifting objects without hooves?" she questioned, glancing off to the side as intuition told her she had just asked something generally considered common knowledge among ponies here.</p>
