As per usual, Butterscotch didn't know about this event until the last minute. The helmet he wore reflected this, being made last minute with really jenky paper mache. He previously assumed he had an about average number of social bonds, but he is now suspecting that there is a cut vertex between him and the rest of the network of social interaction. Whatever, that didn't matter. If there was, he could fix it, and this was an opportunity to do so. He looked around to see what was going on. There were a few ponies he recognized, but no one he really knew. Based on this information, he decided to take his crappy helmet off and sit around near where the food was being sold to see if there was any group he could join up with.
