After a mission gone wrong that left him critically wounded and with his little secret being found out by a close friend. He as been resting in a healing pod during his time in the bunker, allowing his body to heal and recuperate. Today he was done resting. Today, Obsilion was out of the healing pod and was getting everything set up. Today would be his last day using this bunker. One day, this bunker will be given a new owner. He needs to make sure everything is set up and ready for them. Obsilion moved on to do just that. He checked the inventory, made sure all of the software in the machines he placed were good to go with no risks, made sure all of the machines worked properly, made sure all of the different types of armor was polished and in mint condition. He also does much more maintenance work to make sure the bunker will remain functional in his absence. After doing all of this work, he finally has one thing left to do. He must reconstruct and reprogram the AI known as Siva. Obsilion would sit at the center console, tapping away on the screen as he worke on setting up an automated program to do this task for him. “So this is it, eh?...” Siva would ask as he stood nearby and watched the soldier work. “Yeah…This is it…Im setting up this program to start the process as soon as I send this bunker to lockdown mode…” Obsilion would say in response. “….Everyone you know…From what I could gather from infiltrating your ship’s systems and from what I witnessed from the wolf named “Knight”, everyone you know seem to have a deep regard for you and your wellbeing..” Siva would say as he looked at the soldier. “What of it?” Obsilion would ask with a slight yawn as he kept working. “…It sounds like you keep a lot of things you do a secret…Why? Do you not trust the ones that care about you.” Siva would ask, wanting to understand what was going on that day between his soldier and the wolf. Obsilion would sigh softly as he stopped working for a bit.”…I believe that to an extent, I may trust others too much…However, this isn’t an issue of trust. Everything I do, I do for others…But I must keep the peace. Keeping the peace means working in secret. A government doesn’t share everything they do with the people, because they must keep the peace. This means keeping many secrets, some rather dark. I am keeping the peace while still doing what is needed to protect others. There is not one creature in this universe that can offer complete 100 percent transparency. That just not how things work. 100 percent transparency is not a promise I can make, and I must continue to do my job… Siva…nothing is ever guaranteed. Nothing is eternal…Where there is a beginning, there is always an end. That is a fact that will never change. Everything….EVERYTHING can be taken from you in an instant…Nothing in this universe is truly yours. This is a harsh lesson that many will grow blissfully ignorant of…That’s not a bad thing….It all comes down to this Siva….If not me, then who? If I don’t do what needs to be done, then nothing will be balanced and everything will go straight to hell…Somebody’s got to do it..” Siva goes quiet for a moment, running something in the background of his own program to send out a quick message to gods know where. He then responds with a nod. “..I understand…Will I remember any of this?” “…I cant say that you will. It is a possibility that you may keep certain memories and protocols, but I cant say for sure.” Obsilion would say as he got back to working on the program. “I see…Who will be the new owner of this place? Who will take over after you?” Siva asks with pure curiosity. Obsilion would pause for a moment before smiling a little. “….She will do great things with you by her side…That’s if she decides to proceed with “Project Unity”….You will see her in a few years..” he says in response. “..I am almost done. I will be leaving soon..” Siva stares at the soldier, having seen the soldier smile for the first time since he as an AI was created by him. He then gives a small smile of his own and nods. “…It was an honor serving by your side…Obsilion..”. Siva says this before disappearing. Obsilion would close his eyes and would sigh slightly. “….The honor was all mine SIVA…I am proud that you became the perfect Security.Infiltration.Virus.Asset… Rest well friend..” Obsilion says this as he finished the program. He then stands up and leaves the bunker, sending the bunker into lockdown mode as he leaves.
