They look fine the way they are <3 but if you want to make it more slimey looking could try using white and make some oval shapes on certain areas of the hair or add the vibrant color of the eyes into the shading of the body

Yes because slime has tendency to shine but white can also be on lower opacity so it like blends in better with the rest of colors
