i always get really nervous when someone's watching mlp all the way through and they're about to get to "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" because i've always thought that one was super controversial but it's my personal favorite episode. so i figured what better way to see how controversial it really is than to poll a ridiculously small sample size of hardcore bronies about it?

Anyway, Icy Creation's Author's opinion: That is one of the best episodes of the show, and I had no idea that opinion was controversial. For too many reasons to list.
I imagine people were upset because the CMC had so many head canons about their cutie marks, and more so about how they had very similar ones.
But I think it's a perfect example of bucking expectations and telling a very cute story. With a heartfelt song. Definitely one of the better ones.
usually when i saw people mad about the episode, it was because of Diamond Tiara's redemption. which is my favorite aspect of the episode, funnily enough.
