Design Description

Thin vanilla-colored fur, and an auburn mane and tail. When it comes to colors, Vanil isn't the most diverse. But hey, there is nothing she can do on that front so she doesn't care too much about it.

What she can change, however, is her overall physique. Fit would be the one-word descriptor this noble-sized mare gave herself. Not nearly as athletic as she was in her tomboyish, teenage years. Detailed Personality

If there is one word to properly describe Vanil, it would probably be: basic. Anyone experienced socially would instantly realize that she does not provide much in way of conversations.

Not as chatty as she used to be, it may be an uphill battle to socialize with this particular mare. Keeping to herself most of the time, she comes off as yet another snooty daughter of a noble. Those who assume as such wouldn't be entirely wrong, however, at least when she's sober.

Vanil La Roux, the youngest and only daughter of the Princess' former personal chef who married a famous model turned fashion designer. Given such a prestigious line, ponies would be right to call Vanil the odd one out among the four siblings. Living most of her foalhood as an absolute menace, infamous for bullying young nobles her age. She even managed to round up a small gang of unruly foals. Living most of her foalhood as an absolute menace, infamous for bullying young nobles her age. She even managed to round up a small gang of unruly foals. If you had a bad time in Canterlot Elementary, Vanil was probably responsible, directly or otherwise.

She carries this negative reputation like a badge of honor up until Canterlot High, when her entire personality changed, seemingly overnight. Nobody knew what caused the Metal-Mouth Menace -since she wore braces- to stop, and most student wouldn't dare to ask why. Gossip spread for a hot minute; rumors ranging from threatened with being expelled to parents writing her out of the will. Naturally, the rumors slowed down, eventually, and the Metal-Mouth Menace, remains as a mere echo in the back of every student's head.

All the while, Vanil's change never stopped. No longer a tomboyish bully, instead embracing the feminine aesthetic and behavior down to a T, courtesy of her mother's guidance. She was shaping up to be a proper lady, until of course, she wasn't.

Somehow, Palpatine return- somehow, Vanil decided to join the military academy right after graduation. Such a choice baffled everyone she knew, but especially her mother whom spent all those years supporting her turning a new leaf (and designing several outfits). Four years in the academy, and she was set to graduate among the top of her class, and join the military on the fast track as a 2nd lieutenant.

Something happened that left the mare changed once again. Her parents used whatever influence they had to quietly pull their daughter out from the mandatory 8-year amogus post-graduate service. She managed to keep a low-profile, so much so that she did for the remainder of her 20's remained a mystery.
