They were originally the long lost leader of the royal guard from thousands years ago, long before Princess Celestia and Luna were ever known as royalty. Charlie was destined to be the ruler of the great army. But then an evil creature came to equestria, where Charlie originally lived. That creature was named, Zephiles. A draconequus, also well known as, the grandfather of Discord, the lord of Chaos. Zephiles challenged Charlie to a battle, if Zephiles won, he would get the duty of ruling over equestrian land, but if Charlie won, they would get to keep their role as the leader. Charlie didn't hesitate to respond with a yes. With a few hours in to this challenging battle, Zephiles was losing horribly, Charlie was getting weaker and weaker by the minute. They decided to blast their final gust of magic to defeat Zephiles, but they knew that even though they'd win, the consequence was to be dramatically teleported into a cursed land. Charlie knew this was for the nation, not for anybody else. with that being said, Charlie took her last blast of magic and conquered Zephiles! As everyone screamed and cheered for Charlie. They faded away very slowly, saying goodbye to their friends and dearest family members... They were tortured in this cruel town, cuts all over their hooves, losing their magic power from leaving their place as the army's commander, and becoming blind in one eye. But later on was saved by a clever friend by the name of Dellius, the well known heroic warrior from the book of Gelanias (Famous Ram X Unicorn from ancient mythology) They both fled from the evil people of Abyssinia to their beloved town, Ponyville. Charlie hides themself till this day, because the evil crooks are still out there trying to murder them for a fortune. They know they will need to come back one day, with Twilight Sparkle as current ruler of this beautiful land, it was going to soon be time, very soon...
