About Me

My name is Lunar Enigma and my mother is Moonlight Secrets, my father is Discord. My mother is the Secret Keeper of Equestria and she befriended Discord when he was still trapped in stone. She was the first pony to treat him civilly, and not shun him for being a villain. When he was released from his stone prison, and had developed friendships with Twilight and her Friends, he was pulled along on a trip to Canterlot where Celestia had summoned them. My mother is the Secret Keeper of Equestria and she befriended Discord when he was still trapped in stone. She was the first pony to treat him civilly, and not shun him for being a villain. When he was released from his stone prison, and had developed friendships with Twilight and her Friends, he was pulled along on a trip to Canterlot where Celestia had summoned them. Twilight and her friends had met Moonlight on her visits to Ponyville.

Mother's heart transplant was beginning to fail her and she was in the hospital. It was Discord that taught Celestia how each species heart is different so you can't put a pegasus heart into a unicorn. Celestia took Moonlights Pendant to the Gift Giving Tree that Nitroxus had introduced her too years before and had the pendant altered to accommodate her new heart, much like when Cadance and Twilight became Alicorns. A young stallion that had been one of the finalists to become secret keeper had gotten into an accident and was on life support. He had felt guilty for his treatment of Moonlight and had instructed his mom that should she need a new heart, that he wanted her to have his. She received the heart successfully and it was in the hospital that Discord met her, and learned that it had been her that had talked to him those many years ago. The two eventually fell in love and were married, and because of her heart condition she was unable to conceive a child, so with Celestias help she found a surrogate to carry one.

Thus I was born. I'm a pony draconequus hybrid and I have a unique history. If I'm around Moonlight or Discord physically I'm perfectly normal, I can see, hear and speak. But if I'm not around them and I'm on my own, I can do none of those things. My ears are enlarged like a bat to help me find my way around with help from the sensors at the ends of my wings. My eyes glow and everything I can see isn't what you all see, it's chaotic and scary. And the long yellow tongue is how I can speak. It moves through the air to write words of what I want to say, and it's written in the air in glowing speech.

View MoreLunar's eyes are filled with guilt as she follows his movements, seeing him backing up into some bushes and laying down. Never had she had such a reaction to her powers before, and she begins to worry that she has done more damage than good. Using her tail to set the canteen just shy of the bushes he had disappeared into, she stands up and makes her way towards the edge of the small cluster of trees and stares out to the road. It was still pretty early in the day so they were good on time, but she didn't know how long it would take him to come to his senses. Staring up at the sky, she makes a high pitched shrill in the back of her throat kind of like the noise makers that you blow into at birthday parties. As if on cue, a large crackle pop sound can be heard as the Lord of Chaos himself appears floating in front of her, "My dear Una, it's been a while since you felt the need to summon me. What have you done this time?" Her head turned to stare into the wooded glade for a brief moment before looking back at him, her tongue writing in the air, "Please don't be mad. Someone came up to me in the library. Hes different from other ponies. Hes an omnivore like myself. He wanted to introduce me to this diner near the train tunnel. I was letting him ride on my back." Discords expression hardened upon hearing this, "You did what? Didn't I tell you not to let anyone ride on your back?" Lunar sighed, "You did but I didn't know what else to do. There are ponies after him that want to hurt him and I thought if he hid on my back under my wings it would be safer." Discord smacked his forehead and shook his head, "You need to think more like a draconequus little one. Instead of violating your personal space like that, you could've easily gotten to your destination by our dimension. No one can access it and you'd arrive in half the time." She lowered her head in shame having forgotten completely about the chaos realm. Discord reached out and lifted her chin with one of his claws, "I will have none of that. No daughter of mine lowers her head in shame. Now is that the only thing that happened?" Lunar shook her head, "You have to promise that you won't do anything to him cause I've already done enough." Discord tilted his head to the side, "Im afraid to ask, but you have my word." Taking a deep breath Lunar began to explain what had transpired on the trip, how his simple gestures at first seemed to feel more intimate in nature and made he feel uneasy so she took him into the wooded glade and used her magic on him. And that now hes secluded himself in some bushes and won't come out. Discord looked to the trees and she could see the disgust written on his face like any protective father would have. Lunar gave a few high pitched chirps as if to tell him that he promised. Discord looked back to her and reached out and ran his fingers through her bangs and over her small horn, "I did promise, and I will keep it." Discord disappeared into the trees as he located where Thau was hiding and snapped his fingers, the entire area giving a bright flash of light in an attempt to erase the current memories of anyone in the woods whether it be pony or animal. He appeared a few moments later still hovering beside her waiting to see what had become of the hidden stallion.
