They seem to be doing something, hoping for bits to be tossed into a semi-filled jar in front of them. There's a sign saying Witherwind was kicked out of the house he and his mate lived in, and unfortunately, the mother did not want to keep his daughter, Varnish. They're living on the streets together, it seems this happened recently. Varnish is performing a semi-skilled tapdance on the pavement, her hooves going up and down, side to side, hitting the concrete with rhythm and grace. Her father is joining her in this, copying her movements, he taps of his hooves much stronger and deep-toned than hers. He's using his wings to make a beat as well, and they seem to be singing ''Dancing in the Dark'' from Home. Varnish is on the last chorus, a sunny smile on her face as she sings, tapdancing on her hind hooves in a rear. ''I wanna dance in the dark, and never stop! We're gonna light up the night, like shooting stars! Whenever you- hear the sound- don't be alarmed! Awoo, woo, woo! Dancing in the dark!'' You're passing by them as they're performing.
