View MoreVarnish exchanged a quick nod with her father under the shadow of the crumbling storefronts, her horn dimmed to avoid drawing attention in the silent ruins. "You take that old hardware shop over there," he whispered, his voice a low rumble. "I'll check the pharmacy next door. Meet back here in twenty—stay quiet, stay safe." With that, they parted ways, her father slipping through a pried-open window into his chosen building while Varnish trotted off toward the alley, her small frame weaving through debris as she scanned for her own target. The city was a maze of soft echoes, and soon she spotted a nondescript structure at the alley's end, its rear facade half-hidden by partially trimmed weeds. Approaching from the back, she couldn't make out any signs or storefronts—just weathered bricks waiting repair nd a single window ajar, as if beckoning her in. Probably a warehouse, she thought, her curiosity piqued by the promise of stored goods. Canned food? Tools? Anything. Nudging the window wider with her horn, she hoisted herself up and tumbled inside, landing softly on what felt like carpet underhoof. But as her eyes adjusted to the muted light seeping through dust-moted air, her breath caught. This wasn't a warehouse at all. Shelves upon shelves of books lined the walls, stacked in neat rows that curved around a central reading area. ..it was a library—small, intimate, like something a single pony might have pieced together for themselves, hidden away from the world. Leather-bound tomes mingled with faded paperbacks, and a faint scent of vanilla and old ink hung in the air, untouched by the outside. Crouching low, her legs folded beneath her to muffle any sound, Varnish crept forward, her wide eyes darting from shadow to shadow. What the hell..? she wondered, her heart pounding a staccato rhythm. The place felt too preserved, too.. deliberate—no smashed glass, no scattered furniture, like the other spots. She slunk along the hind aisle, her horn brushing a low shelf labeled "Folklore and Myths," pausing to sniff at a book titled Legends of the Revived. No fresh scents, but the dust was thin, as if someone had dusted recently. Ducking behind a freestanding bookcase, she peered toward the front—unlocked doors, with a clock on the wall ticking toward closing time for the day. 4:55. Her mind raced as she inched deeper toward the entrance, crouching even lower to peer under tables for traps or hidden compartments. A cozy nook with an overstuffed chair and a side table held a half-finished journal, its pages yellowed but unmarked by time's cruelty. Owned by a person? A collector? But.. why leave the window open? The quiet pressed in, amplifying every creak of the floorboards under her careful steps. She froze at a faint rustle—wind through the vines outside?—before pressing on, determined to find anything of value before she slips back to rendezvous with her father. #rp

In fact, whatever it was... It was fast as hell. The green eyes would already be gaining ground on them. "NORMAN! NORMAN!!! It's Sheila!!!" Oddeus was powered by pure adrenaline and was not prepared for one the most dangerous people he knows. It was the very person who taught him his ability to fight. Sheila Shulziker. She is a combat expert and one of the most evil people he has ever met. Sheila on closer inspection was another diamond but it implied that she was equestrian. She had... Equestrian features? Long equine ears and short hair like a horse. In fact, there wasn't any fur, rather... She wore a patchwork suit from head to toe. This suit had clothing over it as if it was implied she was hiding her nudity. The suit itself was patchy like pieces of what could only be imagined as leather. The colorful suit would fight tightly around her frame. The diamond wasn't particularly large, in fact, she stood about 5 feet and three inches. The breed was unknown but it was clear she was prepared to hurt. Her nickname was simply and to the point... Everyone simply called her Death. She horrifying visage isn't just for show, it's emitting a horrifying smell similar to that of the corpse flower. It's intoxicating as if it was emitting some sort of drug into the air. "Come to your mommy, Oddeus! Bonding time is NOOOWWW!" Death sounded on the side of middling age and had a very appealing voice. It's hard to say what she sounds like normally but it sounded very mature, deep in tone. "Just let me have a taste!" Death taunted Oddeus as he would run in between houses and eventually running behind a wall. Sheila would have ran past them and down by a local pub.
