About Me

Hi I'm Witherwind, or just Wither. I'm looking for a long term RP mainly, or one that can be continued in DMs. I don't mind relationships in RP, family life, action, horror, ect, but I'm mainly survival/ growth based. I want our characters to engage in growth together, to change in unexpected ways. To go through and engage with challenges.

View MoreI think it's really interesting how in a role play the same character can be characterized in two separate situations differently For example when I started playing witherwind and varnish, I played them as like only like one or two days into being kicked out where varnish is still a happy-go-lucky kid and witherwind still has his hopes about the future, but he's very defensive of her because she doesn't understand what why it is that her mom suddenly isn't there and they why don't have a house anymore. she's never had to have self defense skills until that point, and she doesn't through the start of this characterization. This is prevalent in a RP with Silver Shield where varnish is hiding in fear because she doesn't really know how to react to strangers and attempts to run and hide from them, whilst witherwind is excessively aggressive towards the stranger ; both of their reactions not warranted and they are being reactive in their own separate ways However later on I decided to do an uno reverse up on their new characterization ; to be like a few weeks to a few months into being homeless, where varnish is an absolute menace to society who thinks that she needs to defend her dad and kill everything. This is bad for varnish because she will get herself killed trying to defend someone who doesn't need help, or get herself killed trying to kill someone else despite being like 12 years old. She thinks she's strong but she's really just bones and skin slapped together ; so instead of being defensive of varnish, witherwind defensive of everyone else because varnish is very reactive and quick to become aggressive Witherwind however, is less reactive/aggressive and more like trying to not get both of them killed. after being in the situation for a while, he's not just physically exhausted but also mentally exhausted, so when he has moments of safety, he just breaks down for a bit. He has remorse about varnish, because teaching her how to defend herself in situations like these were his doing and he didn't expect the effects to be this severe to the point of having to teach her to not be feral. This is prevalent in an RP with Longhaul where witherwind first has to stop her from biting him, and when witherwind is in the hospital due to a freak accident, varnish slowly learns that she doesn't need to fight and bite and stab and steal to survive anymore as Longhaul is taking care of her for now
