Friendship Letters

(Aaand here we come to the origins of Phantom S, Flying Samba, and, for now, Flowing Melody, aka Stickman, Jewel, and Skystar's Rhythm Thief aliases. This one should be a real treat for everyone, so take the time to read this particular one, and enjoy! This one's going to be the original series version with some "present timeline" mixed in cause there was no reboot version of this. As for when this takes place in the Rhythm Thief canon? Let's say... after the events of the game.)
CHAPTER 1: DANCING IN THE DARK
As Stickman, Jewel, and Skystar make their way out of the warp tunnel, they notice the darkly lit side of the earth. It seemed that this was the place. "Wow... and I thought that there was only one earth..." Jewel said. Activating the cloaking on the HQ, Stickman then parked it in the orbit of the world. Once parked, they head down to Paris. As soon as they arrive, they were amazed by the sights. Jewel noticed that people were staring at the three in amazement. "Come on, we should probably hide." Stickman said as he led the two to a nearby hiding spot, out of sight of the crowd of people. "It isn't going to be easy dancing in the dark like that, you know." A voice said as they hid in a alleyway. They look up and see a figure on top of a rooftop. He jumps down and lands in front of the three. "Let me take a guess as to who you three are..." The figure takes out a newspaper and looks at it. "Stickman... Jewel... and Skystar." Stickman was amazed at this. "Y-yes, that's our names, but... how do you know us?" Stickman asked, still amazed. "Word about you three got around fast. Plus... I recognize you two..." The figure points at Stickman and Jewel. "...As saviors of Rio De Janeiro. From another world, perhaps though." Stickman snaps out of his amazement. "And who are you, exactly?" Stickman asked the figure. He tips his fedora and smiles. "The name's Phantom R. Famous rhythm thief here in Paris." The figure said. Phantom R held his hand out. "I assume you're looking for recruits to keep evil at bay." Stickman looks at Phantom R. "You... sure do know a lot about us." Stickman said. "Yes, I've been studying the way you three work since word of you three got to here in paris. The inquisition is looking for you three to take you in. However, I have a solution. Follow me." Phantom R said, and he led the three to somewhere else in Paris, out of sight of the general crowd.
CHAPTER 2: THE TRICKS OF THE TRADE
Phantom R then switched clothes as soon as they got to his apartment. "So... this is who you really are, huh?" Stickman said. "Yes. My real name is Raphael. My father disappeared when I was young." Raphael said as he began his life story. "He left me a coin that had a really distinct mark. The mark was on the bracelet of tiamat that was at the louvre. I took it and met a girl named Marie. Turned out, she had the same mark my coin had." After a few hours of explaining later, Stickman looked amazed. "And so... I'm looking for my father once again. I fear he is working with the real Napoleon to conquer France." Raphael said as he put the coin back in his pocket. Stickman then stood up. "Then let us help you! We can't let France fall to that conqueror." Stickman said, excitedly. "Very well then, but i'm going to need to train you in the arts of the Rhythm Thief before we start."
CHAPTER 3: THE FIVE-FINGER DISCOUNT
Over the next few nights, Stickman, Jewel, and Skystar were trained by Phantom R to become Rhythm Thieves. They learned how to steal to the rhythm, move stealthily to the rhythm, even fight to the rhythm. It was an intense few nights of training, but they eventually got it and perfected their rhythm. At the end of the 4th night, Phantom R comes up to the group with clothes. "Here. These should help conceal you all more." Stickman was given clothes similar to Phantom R, except with a S on the fedora, Jewel was given a dark-colored Samba outfit and mask, and Skystar was given a dress made up of dark waves and shells. They put them on, and they looked rather dashing in them. Stickman was given a cane. "This right here is something you can use to combat your foes, aside from just using your fists, Stickma... no, I think I should call you by a different name while wearing those clothes. How about... Phantom S? In honor of being trained by me." Phantom R said as he smiled. Stickman smiled and nodded. "I think that is a nice name for my rhythm thief self." Stickman said. Phantom R looked at the other two. "While in those clothes of yours, you shall no longer be named Jewel and Skystar. You shall henceforth be named Flying Samba and Flowing Melody!" Phantom R said as he held out his hand to the two. Jewel and Skystar struck a pose as a spotlight shone upon them. "Lovely names, Phantom R." Jewel said. "Now, there is something we need to take care of before we head out." Stickman said, and turned to Phantom R. "Would you like to join us on our crusade to fight evil?" Stickman said, holding out his hand. Phantom R looked at Stickman. "I would love nothing more but to help protect. But... what about Paris here? I can't just leave." Phantom R said. Stickman thought for a bit. "Well... How about we find a way to find threats in our own home worlds. That way we won't have to figure out if we need to return or not." Stickman said. Everyone agreed, and they head to the HQ.
EPILOGUE: SHOWTIME!
Once they head back to the HQ, Stickman gives Phantom R a badge. "This marks your official membership into the USF, Phantom R. For your good deed in saving Paris. Your... Paris, I mean." Stickman said. Phantom R takes it and puts it in his pocket. "It was a close one when I saved the city, but we did it." Phantom R said and smiled. They then look out into the stars. "I do wonder where our next adventure will take us... now that we have more allies." Jewel said. "Well... No matter what happens next, we'll face it together." Stickman said as Jewel perched herself on Stickman's shoulder. It was true, they gained a great new ally, and new skills. What new adventure will await them? Who knows? Only time will tell.
THE END!
