A wolf's Introspection

Seeing the stories of individuals' experiences across the platform, hell, just the fandom in itself... Which is absolutely terrible. Heart goes out to y'all. (Ripping the bandaid here, some of those deplorable folks didn't get punched hard enough or more frequently! But I digress.) I'm more known for the Wolf floof guy; he's a vet from the Ibrony/Ponysquare/Cuite Marks era. I was 'here', but 'nowhere' all at once. The outsider looking in, observing in silence? Lack of a better term. It's hard to pinpoint the words to what I'm feeling. There's always been this... Ponderance of, "You should invest time in the community that you enjoy. You'll make good memories, even lifelong friends along the way?" But never really diving into it fully, cause of my rather timid, or just being hyper-vigilant about protecting my peace back then. And mind you, doing that alone did keep me away from a lot. Avoided a lot, but also missed out as well. Balance. I think it's more from a place of, "You could be part of preventing things that 'had' happened, rather than not investing emotional time in something not tangible," and that's really not a good way to think. Of course, the past is the past, I just hope that in my future, in anything I am a part of. Go fully in anyway, regardless of the unknown that you will come across. Do it with kindness, looking out for others, and allowing people to be a part of something rather than just being idle cause "It's not your problem." We've got enough of that in the real space, can't be replicating that in a space that should be your peace to unwind. As the curator of Wolfbane, Oonski; the Terrible, or Railgun.. I hope you don't think I'm intimidating, or uncooth, or have disrespected anyone here. While the community is smaller, I hope my space is a place of good laughs, a gallery of art, a meme exchange, and banter in good fun with no harm or insults. And just creating. That's all.
