Trick or treat our fellow spook-users! Step forward to receive an invitation to join one of Canterlot Avenue Mascots’ team for the first ever Nightmare Night Team Battle! Will it be Sunshine Serenade, the decaying mummy? Or perhaps the ferocious Manticore, Misty Night! For those who do not know of the event, Sunshine Serenade and Misty Nights are always competing with each other. They think it is time to decide who are the real tricksters of Nightmare Night. For the whole of October, you and other users will take part in week long activities to earn points for the team you represent – Sunny’s team, or Misty’s.
Public Relations are running this full 48 hour Friendship Letter journal where you can comment in the comment section below saying ‘I would like to participate.’ Then, staff will roll randomly and assign you to your respected Team (Misty Nights or Sunshine Serenade). This will allow Public Relations balance team numbers and make the event fair. If the team you are assigned is not your desired team, on the 1st and 2nd of October, team swapping will take place on another ‘Friendship Letter’ journal where Public Relations can document who has swapped with who. Simply state, ‘I would like to swap into this team,’ and hopefully, another user will swap with you.
The Activities
From the 3rd of October, to the 9th, in the ‘Forum’ section of Canterlot Avenue, in the ‘Events and Competitions’ Forum under ‘Nightmare Night Week 1 Activity,’ users will take part in drawing their own OC/s or the mascots in their nightmare night costume. Any platform will do and each time a team member participates; it earns the team 1 point.
10th to the 16th, in ‘Nightmare Night Week 2 Activity’ section, users tell us what’s their favourite monster and why in 20 words or more to earn their team 1 point.
‘Nightmare Night Week 3 Activity’ on the 17th to the 23rd, users will be writing a poem or short story about Nightmare Night. 1 point per participation.
On the 24th to the 30th in the ‘Nightmare Night Week 4 Activity’ section, team members will be tasked to show their scary arts and crafts (pumpkin carvings, baking etc). This will earn 1 point.
From there, Public Relations will tally the scores from the 31st and announce the winners on the 1st of November. Winners will receive an exclusive Winning Nightmare Night 2018 badge to be displayed on their profile. But all members who participated in 2 activities or more will receive another special badge exclusive to the event.
The Badges
Every team member that participates in two or more activities will receive this badge.
If the winning team is Sunshine Serenade's - all users of that team will receive this badge.
If the winning team is Misty Nights' - all users of that team will receive this badge.
