Beg for release, anticipate life end
Broken mirror, identity sharded
Survival gained by self discarded
Trust, a mythos, care, a farce
Thought woven thin or thick to parse
Substance drowning, temporary
Tempt the thrill of the mortuary
Seeping poison, burning rage
Story shortened page by page
Silent scrawling, invisible ink
Sins crawling, sinner, drink.

Zerathur attempts to read it out loud to see if the pone could understand. By the end, his voice had just turned monotomous and he set it aside. "Not a big fan of poetry, I am."
