Name: Mythos Gray

Age: Late 20s

Gender: Male

Species: Unicorn

Residence: Canterlot

Occupation: Entertainer and Storyteller

Appearance: Fit, yet lean as keeps himself in shape yet he is clearly not very strong or tough. With violet eyes and an amused smile on his face. Has a styled white mane and tail, and a well groomed gray coat.

Cutie Mark: An open book with a fire breathing dragon's head poking out the book (a book for the stories he finds an tells other and the dragon to show his ability to make the stories 'come to life')

Personality: Mythos is all about enjoying himself, even if there is risk involved. He has a love of a good story whether it be myth, legend, or ponylore. He even loves to learn the stories of ponies that he meets, and may go out of his way to learn about interesting ponies that he meets. He is charismatic, and has a gift for getting ponies to like him using his good manners and respectful speech. In some ways he is manipulative, and is not above playing with the emotions of other ponies. Yet he is a stallion of his word, always keeping a promise, and would never allow or bring harm to a filly or mare if eh can help it. He also has a great dislike for any that show rudeness towards or insults a mare, and will not allow a mare to be hit in his presence.

Backstory: Mythos was born in a well to do Canterlot family who always seemed to be busy being involved in some social function or event. His father Brightstrings being an extremely skilled violinist and his mother Autumnheart a well respected private teacher of the history of Equestria. As a foal Mythos had plenty of time to himself, where he learned how to read as well as play music on the piano and violin. Yet while reading came easy to him, the musical arts were much harder. Yet Mythos was even at this young age a determinant lad and he actually did become fairly good at these instruments.

As time went on Mythos expand his studies to not only the basics he needed to know but more, learning all he could on Equestrian history, myths, legends, and even tails from other lands. While leaving piano playing mostly behind he did continue practicing his violin, wanting his father to be proud of how well he could play. Yet he still hadn't discovered his Talent, which frustrated him and pushed him to try new things. Now like all self respecting unicorn he learned to use magic, and from youth he studied what he could on it. Yet that to seemed slowing going, but eventually he found he seemed to have an affinity to illusionist based magic and spells more then any other type. Surprisingly for some he started to become quite skilled at illusions or as he called it illustrations.

When Mythos gained his cutie mark was interesting, as it was during a family party that his parents had prepared him for so that he would act the way he should. While looking around young Mythos noticed a young filly that seemed to not be enjoying herself and took it upon himself to cheer her up. Walking of to the filly Mythos smiles and introduced himself as he had been told to do by his father and asked what was wrong. Founding out she was his cousin as well as that her name Sundipple and explain that she hadn't wanted to go to the party in the first place. Calling her Sunny Mythos asked if she would like to hear a story he had read. Interested the filly nodded as Mythos started, concentrating his magic so that he could created the illustrations he had been practicing though they were like rough drawings. Smiling he told his story with all the emotion he could and started to catch the attention of others. By the end of the story there were ponies laughing and nodding at Mythos before he was hugged by Sunny as she thanked him. It was at this time that Sunny noticed Mythos cutie mark, which was an open book and a dragon that seemed to fly out of the pages and breath fire at the reader. With all the commotion Mythos parents walked over to see what was going on and grew excited when they saw his cutie mark. The rest of the party seemed to end even better then expected, and Mythos got to talk with a few of the adults because of what had happened as well as spend more time with Sundipple.

As time went on Mythos grew into a young colt, and requested that he could go traveling around Equestria, wanting to see all the cities and town in Equestria. His parents were unsure, but agreed after a bit of discussion. Allowing Mythos to go off on his own as long as he promise to write weekly and tell his parents about his travels. Once he grew tire on traveling, though her greatly enjoyed doing so, he returned home to tell his parents what he had found and discovered as well as others that would listen.

After about a week from when Mythos returned to Canterlot, deciding it was time to put his travel on pause and decided to step into the Canterlot elite as an entertainer and storyteller, showing himself gifted as such and finding use for all the skills he had learned when young and during his travels. Using his magic and his knowledge he weaved impressive stories as well as even played his violin at times. Yet it was during this time that he took up other work as well, finding himself with offers to find information or to learn about this pony or another. It didn't take long for him to realize he could earn more as a freelancer then for entertaining.

It was around this time Mythos met a certain dark blue pegasus, who quickly caught his interest because of how pretty and nervous she was. It didn't take long for him to find out her name was Stardream and that she was with an assistant to an astrologer.

After this meeting came many more and Mythos became quite close to to Stardream, fond even though he wouldn't admit to being in love with her. After dating for a time Mythos even consider being with just Stardream, to actually have a relationship but it would seem that wasn't to be.

Even though Mythos rarely divulged on the details of his activities to Stardream, he made sure she knew it well enough as to not provide grounds for inquiry. He didn't want Stardream to know that at times, he worked for ponies who wanted him to give them the means to cause trouble for others and bring themselves up the social latter.

Stardream found out about this and was not pleased, trying to get Mythos to stop what he was doing as she was upset he would help ponies that would hurt others. Mythos tried to make it seem it was no big deal, that he wasn't the one actually doing anything wrong. Stardream was not happy about this and eventually left Mythos in tears, later he found out she had left to another city and he was without a means to contact her. He was left in Canterlot, understanding he had made a grave mistake but with no way to fix it.

.Post in Star Dream (EQE Approved)

Name: Star Dream

Age: Early 20s

Gender: Female

Species: Pegasus

Residence: Manehatten

Occupation: Astrologer

Appearance: She has a midnight blue mane and tail, long and wavy. Has a dark blue coat, moving to near black it would seem from afar and green eyes.

Cutie Mark: Green outline of an eye with a black pupil surround in light blue aura.

Personality: Uncertain of her roots, her parents a mystery she seeks to learn of herself and of her talent. Because of the nature of her gift she is uncertain around others, doing what she can to hide herself behind being an astrologist and lettings ponies thinking her detailed understanding of the stars is her talent.

She wants to make friends, but because she has been hurt or shunned before she always waits until she knows she can trust another. Has a love of reading, but mostly only those on the night sky and the stars. Books that might help her understand her talent better. Enjoys being around those with good manners, those that are nice to others, and those that can make her laugh... but dislikes taking risks, unpredictability, selfishness, and when things are not thought through.

Backstory: Named by the parents Star Dream would never know she had to spend her earliest years at an orphanage, but was taken in by what would seemed to be a crabby high class old mare by the name of Sourbloom. It actually confused some why an earth pony would want to adopt a pegasus but the old mare was insistent. It wasn't until she was older that she understood why she even was adopted, though at least Sourbloom played with her bit, bought things for her, and paid attention to her... they did manage to become friends somehow. It would seem it didn't take much for the old mare to start complaining though, and it didn't help that Star Dream wings and her learning to use them right broke things but it would seem most of the time Sourbloom just complained about her family who never visited and only seem to want her money.

It was when Star Dream was a young filly she that she got her cutie mark. Having always had an interest in the night sky and feeling a comfort being under them... even thinking sometimes they could hear and understand her.

She talked to the stars, considering them friends as she wished time and again that they would talk back to her. At times she thought they did, even hearing what would seem to be warnings that protected her from danger. Once listening to the stars had saved the live of her guardian, which is how she gained her cutie mark, in which Sourbloom had a small heart attack. The stars prompted Star Dream to look for Sourbloom as soon as it started and because of this medical staff were able to get to her in time to stabilize her, thus saving the old mare's life.

When Star Dream got older, Sourbloom started to show her age. Her health low, the old mare stayed in her bed and was watch over by nurses she had hired to watch over her condition at all times . One day Sourbloom call Star Dream in, telling her something the old bat had never said before... that she loved her, that if it wasn't for her Sourbloom wouldn't have known what to do. She explained then why she had adopted her, not just because she was a lonely old mare but because she wanted somepony to pass on what she had gained in her long life.

When Star Dream ask about Sourbloom's other relatives she only laughed, saying they would just waste what she would leave behind justifying herself by saying they never cared about her. The two talk a bit more and share a tender moment, before being hurried out by the nurse on duty who told her Sourbloom needed rest.

So it was, Star Dream lost the only family she had but gained more then the memories she had of the old mare. When the relatives found out that Sourbloom had stated in her will that everything would go to Star Dream, they were not pleased to say the least. Yet the old bat had been smart and made sure control of the property was safe in the hooves of a friend until Star Dream could legality own it, her final act being a a 'take that' to the family that only wanted her money. Yet Star Dream didn't keep most of it anyway, having much of it given away to help build an planetarium in Canterlot. When old enough, and her schooling that her guardian had started to her was finished, Star Dream left her home under the care of the servants... deciding to set off to find her place in Equestria.

Gaining a position as an apprentice to an older stallion named Star Gazer, a unicorn astrologer that studies the movements of the stars and other astral bodies and sends reports to Canterlot. Though it took some time to convince him to train her, partly because of how old she was and partly because he preferred to do his job alone. Yet it didn't take long for Star Dream to show her knowledge of the stars and she did impress him... yet it was discovering her Talent that he said yes. You see by this point Star Dream had a fair idea how her Talent worked, it becoming of use in her life. Yet she still kept most ponies from knowing about it, as who would believe that a pegasus could see the future. That she could speak with the stars and once in a while have strange dreams, dreams that oddly connect to herself and others around her. It was an odd gift to say the least, especially for a pegasus, as normally one could only use spells to divine such things. This is what got Star Gazer to say yes, as it fascinated him that was her talent. This surprised Star Dream, thankful even, as it was rare for those few she told to believe her so quickly. So with that she traveled with Star Gazer and learned how to be a astrologer herself.

Later Star Dream met a handsome stallion unicorn named Mythos in Canterlot, a storyteller and scholar that seemed to have been all over Equestria. They became close, Mythos even inviting her at times to go out for some fun and to see what Canterlot could offer. As time went on, Star Dreams feelings for Mythos grown until she even started to fall in love with him. Yet she found out that Mythos had been hiring his research based skills to ponies of an unsavory feel to Star Dream, the stars warning her of danger. When she found out some of these ponies were hurting others, she confronted Mythos about it. What she heard him say shocked her, as he explained he found nothing wrong with helping these ponies, even if some were hurting others by their actions. Star Dream couldn't let it go, and tried for sometime to convince Mythos to stop helping them. When he wouldn't she finally gave up and said that she couldn't do this, that she couldn't stay with Mythos if he continued his work as he did. With tears in her eyes she said that she just did not understand how the nicest pony she know would be willing to help those that hurt others.

With that she left him which hurt very much, and she moved back to Manehattan. She got back in contact with her old mentor asking for work, who hired her without question as his assistant because he knew she was reliable... though she had to start traveling often again because of this.
---------------------

Other: Her special talent is learning of the future and of others from the stars as well in her dreams. She rarely completely understands what she is told and usually her talent works as a sixth sense where the stars warn her of danger and trouble around or near her.

Her talent is limited, mostly just giving hints of things to come, and even when things are clear and detailed Star Dream does not always understand what she sees or dreams. Her talent cannot be used to control other characters and if her ability to see the future is used for more then just a 'sixth sense' I will always discuss what she learns or knows with others before posting

Lastly I created Star Dream before the Luna Eclipsed so appearance similarities are merely coincidence.

Name: Golden Dawn

Age: Mid 20s

Race: Pegasus

Residence: Hollow Shades, spends a lot of time in Canterlot

Occupation: Royal Guard

Appearance: A stallion with a golden yellow coat and wings. His mane and tail a dark brown color, almost black. His eyes are a more bronze yellow, and a serious look on his face.

Cutie Mark: An image of a golden sun just rising over a field, with dark spectors moving away from the sun's rays. His cutiemark represent his firmness of believe and willingness to stand strong like the sun against fear.

Personality: Cheerful and idealistic, though he has grown more serious since becoming a member of the royal guard. He keeps to himself most of the time though others may get him to have fun. One to never give up and courage to see himself through any danger, and will always helps those in need.

Backstory: When young Golden Dawn always loved the chance to go outside and play during the day, to see what he could find. His parents, Stardust and Red Blaze let their son have his little adventures having no worries of him getting hurt in the small town Hollow Shades.

Now Red Blaze happened to be royal guard stationed in Canterlot and as such had to leave his home and family from time to time. Some suggested that he move his family to Canterlot so he had more time to spend with his wife and son yet his his calm manner he always explained that he and his wife had grown up in the town and it wouldn't feel right leaving. That and he didn't want his son to grow up in a city where ponies cared more about how they appeared to others and not how they treated others.

On his father's return from Canterlot Golden Dawn could always expect to hear stories of Celestia, who he came to believe to be the most amazing pony in Equestria. His father speaking of her acts of kindness and love to her people, her jokes she used to calm the nerves of her subjects and the wise words his father Red Blaze had heard. It was because of these stories of his father's experiences in the Canterlot palace that Golden Dawn would grow up wishing to become a royal guard as well... and he did.

The day Golden Dawn gained his cutiemark was when he was playing with his friends near the forest surrounding Hollow Shades. Now this forest wasn't nearly as dangerous as the Everfree but their parents had still warned them not to go to deep into it. Yet one a dare one his friend Merryweather went into the forest to try and find a certain plant said to only be found in the forest. Yet when his friend did not return and the others were beginning to panic Golden Dawn went into forest to look for her. The forest was dark and the young foal started to grown afraid, yet he pressed on knowing Merry needed him. Finally he found her trapped fallen branch. After helping her out from under it they both returned home, their parents waiting. It was only after it was time for dinner that anyone noticed his cutie mark.

On his 16 birthday he went in to the Canterlot Academy, where all ponies went if they wanted to protect the ponies of Equestria and more particularly when they wanted to give their life and service to the royal princess Celestia. It was there that the stallion met a pegasus mare named Raven Feather, among other ponies. She was an interesting mare to say the least, always getting Golden Dawn into trouble with her antics and sneaking up on him when he least expected it. Yet they grew close, though they never considered being more then friends.

The stallion trained hard and graduated from the Academy, his parents meeting him to give their congratulations before both he and Raven Feather went of to the palace. It was there Golden Dawn meet Shining Armour, a stallion he would come to greatly respect as his commanding officer. Also, finally he got to meet the mare that he had heard so many stories of when growing up, and had even gained a foalhood crush on when young though he outgrow this. From that time on he saw for himself what his father had told him was true... yet as time went on he also notice there was times Celestia grew quiet, even sad.

Golden Dawn eventually found out why, and he saw for himself how much Celestia brightened at the return on her sister Luna. The reveal to the royal guard of this sister surprised those there, almost no one in Equestria knowing she had a sister. Raven Feather was quick to volunteer to become a Lunar Guard, which didn't surprised Golden Dawn because she always had a great love for the night. Yet until things got reorganized even he was called on to guard Celestia's younger sister, and through this he observed just how important the sisters were to each other. Celestia wasn't sad anymore and it was actually amusing to watch their interactions with each other. It was then that the stallion knew things were as they should be.

Name: Princess Celestia

Age: Over a 1000 years old.

Gender: Female

Species: Alicorn

Residence: Canterlot

Occupation: Co-Diarch of Equestria

Appearance: A mare whose presence cannot be missed, taller then any other pony in Equestria with long thin legs accented with an elegantly shaped of body and face. Has a pastal mane and tail of violet, azure, green and cyan that seems to move in the air with unfelt wind. Her fur is that of a purest white, and her violet eyes missing little. Has a jeweled golden crown, neck and hoof ornaments that are a sign of her title.

Cutie Mark: A sun of orange red curved rays, an orange border, and golden yellow center.

Personality: The princess is a calm, soft spoken ruler who rarely raises her voice but when she does her subjects can tell the situation was serious. A mare that hides most of herself away from all but a few, keeping a mask meant to protect herself from pain. For many years the joy and hope she given to her subjects could not be found within her own heart, yet because of her faithful student Celestia was able to regain her beloved sister. With Luna by her side she is finally able to feel the joy and hope she gave to others, the ache in her heart eased.

Over the years she had grown wise, her intelligence allowing her to overcome the many challenges over her rule. She also had a sense of fun and mischief, finding ways to ease the boredom that running a nation and dealing with politics often brings. Celestia truly cares about her subjects though, even if some may secretly annoy and frustrate her, and does all she can to allow them to discover their true potental. She is always looking to protect her subjects but sometimes worries that she is not strong enough to do so.

Takes joy from being with her sister Luna, getting her student's friendship reports, seeing others smile and laugh, when others treat her as a pony, eating pastries and cakes, snd offering a bit of humor to lighten the mood. What she dislikes most is failing her little ponies, strictly following protocol, being alone, ponies bowing to all the time or being nervous and going out of their way to please her, being kidnapped or otherwise taken out of commission.

Background: Little is know of Celestia's and her sister's early years. All the regal alicorn has revealed is snippets. Little snippets... The old castle that housed the royal princesses before the days of Discord... and the days before the Times of Trouble. A time when her parents watched the creation of the three races bonded by the fire of friendship.

Much speculation has arisen concerning the whereabouts of her parents. Some scholars say they were imprisoned by the chaotic Discord, but other say they sacrificed themselves to give their daughters a chance to defeat him. Either way, it was left up to Celestia and Luna to save the land, going to the Tree of Harmony to aquire the Elements to fight such a powerful foe as Discord.

Celestia stayed calm in the face of adversity, so as to keep everypony's spirits high. She cared for those suffering, but gave possible false hope that the sisters could fix the damage that was done. As the sisters tried fighting directly before going to the Tree of Harmony, but found they could do nothing. Discord decided to have some fun with the pair, starting by trying to tempt Princess Celestia to rule with him, side by side. Even though Celestia admitted that it would be easier to give in, her love for her sister and the suffering ponies meant she could not accept such an offer.

With a laugh, the draconequus left. He cackled, saying that there was more than one way to sway Celestia. Celestia was worried, fearing for her sister but she was able to find her and lead her to the Tree and then imprison Discord in stone. Celestia wielding the Elements of Magic, Generosity, and Kindness while Luna wielded the Elements of Loyalty, Honesty, and Laughter... thus allowing the sisters to restore order to a land having known chaos for so long.

As time passed the princesses helped Equestria grow through diplomatic relations, even aiding the Crystal Empire, a kingdom that fell prey to shadowy tyrant by the name of King Sombra. Celestia quickly realized in her trials that he was both powerful and cunning and was again separated from her sister. Celestia fought her way to King Sombra and Luna. She roused her sister to action so that together they could defeat him.

However all was not well. Not only was Princess Luna unwilling to speak of her troubles, King Sombra had also planted a curse on the Crystal Empire as he was just becoming imprisoned in ice. He had the Crystal Empire disappeared from the face of Equestria for 1000 years, leaving Princess Celestia heartbroken. Luna tried to comfort her, but to no avail as the royal sisters returned to Equestria in sorrow.

As time passed, Equestria desired more of the day and less of the night. Princess Celestia was inwardly pleased with her subject's praise, but she noticed an increasingly distant and unhappy Luna, one who felt a darkness envelop her very soul... Celestia promised herself frequently to speak with her sister, but she could never do so because her subjects continued to seek her attention. It would be too late when she realized the dire consequences of her neglect towards her sister...

On night though, Celestia met her sister in the throne room as Luna spoke her frustrations to her before breaking the podium between their thrones and creating a large crack going up the wall behind her. With such a hole opened up revealing the sun and Luna rose into the air raising the sun as she did creating an eclipse. With this dark rays formed around the moon falling upon Celestia's sister and energy begins to encircle Luna into ball of magic going from red to black to blue which formed the mane and tail of the mare before Celestia as she watched the transformation reach completion.

Maniacal laughter of a voice so unlike her sister filled the room, before the one that had once been her sister created a beam of magic that brought damage to the throne room. Celestia stepped forward and flow into the air before being attacked. Landing she calls Luna's name and says she will not fight her and tries reasoning with her. Yet this only brought a correction that the mare was not Luna but one calling herself Nightmare Moon and the words that she will destroy Celestia with such another beam attack forcing Celestia to take fight.

Nightmare Moon gave chase as flow away from her foe, continuing her attack as Celestia did her best to avoid attacks but finally she was hit and with a cry falls to the ground inside the castle. After a moment Celestia stood, and after looking in the direction of her foe decides with soft apology that she must take action. With such her magic opened up the place where the Elements were stored, and gathering them up they begin to spin around her. With light and energy forming around her Celestia rose up to where Nightmare Moon was and with tears appearing in her eyes used the Elements to attack the mare before her.

The jewels each brought forth a beam that combined together to create a rainbow of energy that overcame Nightmare Moon's own magic. With one final cry the dark mare was overcome and sent flying to the moon and being trapped within, her image appearing upon its surface.

Celestia placed the Elements back onto the pedestal once she was able, the Element of Magic disappearing while the others turned to stone. With sorrow, Celestia moved as quickly and as far away from the castle as she could... the conflict leaving the castle in ruins. Celestia finally slowed, uncertain on what to do next. She just wanted to hide, to cry but she knew her subjects would be afraid and confused... they needed her!

It was then that Celestia lowered the moon and allowed the sun to be revealed and gathered her little ponies to tell them that everything was fine. When the ponies asked about Luna however, Celestia could only give the half truth as she hung her head. She said that Nightmare Moon had taken her and as a result Celestia would oversee the duties of the night for Equestria's safety and Luna's memory. The Summer Sun Celebration was created by the ponies for the defeat of Nightmare Moon but for Celestia it was a bitter reminder of her loss and regret.

Celestia was not satisfied, she wanted to have her sister back. She found an oracle that prophesied that Nightmare would be freed in 1000 years. The stars would aid in her escape, but new wielders of the Elements of Harmony would be needed to be found if the princess wanted to save her sister.

A new castle was soon built and with it Canterlot grew around it. Many new cities spurt from the ground and prospered as Celestia continued to watch and guide. In this rule, Celestia created a facade to become the ruler her subjects needed. She had to be perfect in everything, from action to speech. On top of that, she had to be perfectly calm, never faltering, and never sorrowing. She had to be prepared to counter ever possible intrigue and threat to keep her subjects' hopes alive, even when all seemed doubtful and uncertain for her.

In her private chambers however, the princess allowed her emotions to pour. She sung a lullaby looking up at the moon, unsure as to whether her sister heard... Her guilt and loneliness poured out to the night sky... She wanted her sister back, and would do whatever it took to do so... even if it took a thousand years to find those ponies who would save her.

Time continued to pass. Few could ever get close to her, but when she found somepony important in her life, it pained her whenever they passed on. So many ponies knew her, but no one came close to truly understanding her as an aura of awe and mystery surrounded. Ponies had all sorts of feelings towards her, but few ever really knew her...

Time was almost up. In just a few years, Nightmare Moon would return. She still had to find the 6 ponies who could activate the Elements of Harmony. However, a Sonic Rainboom changed all that. It hadn't been performed in centuries, and with it came a strong magical connection that appeared in the form of 6 ponies and the head of a dragon plopping his head through her school's tower.

Moving quickly, Celestia arrived to see a strong energy emanating from a young purple filly having lost control of her unicorn powers. The effects were there: pony transformation, pony levitation, and a giant dragon. Celestia softly placed her hoof onto the filly's shoulder, resulting in a calming of the magic and the dropping of the filly onto the ground.

Twilight, as was the filly's name, apologized in fear of wrongdoing, but Celestia quickly explained that it wasn't her doing. She knew this filly was different, offering for her to be the princess's apprentice. All Twilight could do was stare in disbelief, but her parents, in full eager agreement, encouraged Twilight to accept. It was then that Celestia pointed at the filly's newly formed cutiemark, showing that Twilight had gained her cutie mark.

In the years to come, Celestia would search out the other ponies who were possibly connected with Twilight in some way. In very subtle ways, she would lead them to Ponyville, so that once the day had come there would be those ready for the call to protect Equestria. Celestia was pleased when she heard from her student that she had read the book the princess had placed for her and the concern Twilight expressed. Yet, instead of admitting the truth of the matter, Celestia charged Twilight with the task of checking for the readiness of the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville.

After seeing her plan moving forward, Celestia waited, knowing that what would come on Nightmare Moon's return. She had to trust her student to make all the friends she needed. Deep down, she had to hope that despite her fears, Twilight would activate the Elements of Harmony and succeed where she had failed...

Now... Celestia watches as the destiny of her student unfolded, the adventures she and her friends have.

Other: Her power I feel likely will be relevant to which plot she is a part of, but I believe that she is not the a goddess like many fans make her out to be and the tv show clearly reveals that she has limits to her abilities and Lauren Faust herself said that Celestia and Luna were not intended to be seen as goddesses. One thing in Celestia's favor when it comes to power though is the fact she has had over 1000 years to learn magic... but also learned when and how to use it.

Admittedly, when how often she has been kidnapped or otherwise taken out of the picture it does frustratingly put into question her power or capability in a fight. Sighs

Once upon a time, there was a game called Skycoaster. In the sky coaster, you fly around while being thrown through obstacles, avoiding falling off the towers. And you can also visit this https://www.essayontime.co.uk/do-my-assignment/ site to learn writing techniques to finish your college work easily. But the fun of sky coaster didn’t last long, because soon, another game called Funtastic Land made its way onto the internet. This time around, you had to climb over obstacles, collecting the coins along the way.

Name: Phoebe Verdier

Age: 28

Occupation: Fashion Model/Supermodel

Species: Pegasus

Height: 6'0 on all fours.

Weight: Freakishly light for a 6'0 horse (like 120 IBS or something iunno)

Appearance: She is tall and slender with a long platinum blonde mane and tail. She has a pure white coat that is kept well groomed.

Personality: She is like a little angel (:U) ! She is weirdly innocent, which ponies find to be a little odd considering she is a model. She likes to hang out with friends and is always happy to talk to anypony who needs talking to! However, from all of this, she can sometimes still be oblivious to things that other ponies find obvious. I suppose there are always flaws in ponies, no matter who they are.

--------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------

Backstory: Phoebe was born in an upper class family in Manehatten. Her mother was a former model, while her father was a businesspony who ran a refinery business. She grew up with two other older brothers who liked to torment their little sister all the time. Her mother and father were very adamant about their education, which led them all to eventually attend the prestigious Canterlot University. Already securing a modeling gig thanks to the kind words of her mother, Phoebe did not really take school too seriously, considering she already had her career set. She eventually earned a literature degree, which didn't do anything besides give her a check box on job resume's showing she had a college degree. With her regal colors and unusual body type, Phoebe had no issue moving up the ranks in the fashion world. Being a happy-go-lucky kind of mare, she was loved by her employers who appreciated the upbeat personality in a career that could be quite dull. Despite earning money from modeling, and having a trust fund from her father, she is very modest when around others, not mentioning anything about her living standards, as she wished not to offend anybody. You can usually find Phoebe trotting around the city grocery shopping, going to parks to relax, and in her home in the suburbs of Manehatten.

Name: Rose Quartz

Gender: Doe

Age: Late Teens

Race: Deer

Residence: Crystal Empire, though she travels.

Occupation: Potionmaker, counselor

Appearance: Rose is a doe with a soft gem-like coat that is light pink in color with rose red hair as well on the tips of her ears and on her tail, also with light purple eyes. Mostly wears bright and cheerfully colored clothes, often of pastel shades. She always keeps with her a necklace made by her mother, a carved heart of rose quartz which reminds the her of who she is and motivation.

Personality: One who tries keeps an upbeat and happy attitude, though stress may pull her down just a bit. The doe has an impressive amount of patience, but there are things that can get under her coat enough to make her upset. She is a romantic in heart and with a fondness of children, yet shows love to all her friends and family no matter who or what they are. She understands the importance of high self esteem and makes sure to try and teach those she meets to feel good about themselves. She is always happy to help others who may be struggling in their relationships, especially couples and will offer advise when asked or when she feels it as important. Greatly enjoys potionmaking, of coming up with new recipes with the crystals she uses, experimenting to see what she can make..

Background: Rose is the daughter of the lavender doe Meadow Heart, with father unknown as her mother never spoke of him. Instead, her father is that of the red stallion Ruby Star, a crystal pony. She was born a deer as her mother before her, though without antlers as some female deer had. Yet through living in the Crystal Empire she gained a gem-like coat and was raised among ponies. Her parents had met unexpectedly, her father a wandering doctor who had met her mother during his travels. They hit it off, and even managed to get into some trouble protecting Rose while having a few adventures together before setting down in the crystal Empire.

Their love, while misunderstood in the eyes of some, was strong and filled their lives with joy. While Ruby was not Rose's father by birth, he did become such for all intents, and the doe would also introduce him as such in the years to come. She would come to see him, and her mother, as very strong and would love both dearly. Admittingly, she was a little shy towards the the stallion when they first met so many years ago.

Yet the rise to power of King Sombra, his dark rule, would take from them the joy and hope they had once know. With Rose just a small filly at the time, Ruby would hide from the king his wife and adopted daughter. It was hard, especially since he had to work in the mines, but some how they managed to have it work. It was the arrival of the royal sisters from Equestria and the final curse of the tyrant that would mark the empire's disappearance.

When the Crystal Empire returned and brought with it all those who lived there, with six mares and a dragon saving everyone from King Sombra's dark rule, there was the return of hope into their hearts. Rose even remembered the Crystal Fair, how fun it had been, though she had been young at the time.

It would take some adjusting, but Rose and her family were able to live a peaceful life after this and she would grow up. With this would come to finding a special talent for herself, despite not being able to get a cutiemark, which came from messing around with her father's potions and medicine. She would use the recipes that Ruby had on hoof, but decided to experiment and use some powered topaz. To her surprise, she was able to make something tasty and which brightened her mood greatly. From there would come many more interesting and helpful potions and mixtures.

Though Rose loved making potions and experimenting with crystals, there is one thing that she has learned to be careful about. This being making and selling love potions since she has seen others use them to create love where it does not exist. There was even a filly that the doe considered a friend who was head over hooves for a colt in her class, she pressured Rose to make a love potion. Though she felt she shouldn't, the doe eventually gave in and did as she was asked.

It worked for about a week before wearing off, and the colt was not happy to realize what had happened and wanted nothing to do with the filly after that. The filly even got expelled for a week, and many ponies didn't trust her. Rose felt terrible, guilt of the part she played and in what had happened. Ever since then she has been careful of who she even tells about such, sometimes even lying she doesn't know how to make a love potions or making some other excuse. She promised to only offer or sell them to couples already together, to help strengthen their love for each other.

Feeling that she could be most useful traveling from city to city, town to town, much like her father before he settled down with her mother, selling her potions and medicines though she would always return home to the Crystal Empire. Rose would head out on her own but not without a heartfelt goodbye to her parents and a promise to always return, even monthly if she could, as well as a bag of supplies. She was nervous, even a bit afraid, yet her heart was determined and bright no matter the risk. Yet even still, while the doe would seek out a few friends and companions in her travels, she was much like her mother and the rest of her kin in being a bit shy when meeting others.

Other: Her skill and talent lies is potionmaking, particularly when using gemstones to do so and when making potions that bring more positive emotions or healing. This includes love potions, but she is careful who she sells such to and does not often make them unless she felt it is needed.

Also, Rose's personality and inspiration is taken from that of the rose quartz crystal. Its meaning and uses, whether for healing or spirituality/meditation helped to create who this character is.

Star Catcher
.Post in Star Catcher

Have something I wrote up a while back. Figured it'd be worth a read.

Star Catcher was born in Butterfly Island – a vacation resort roughly 70 miles off the coast of Manehattan to a unicorn named Serene Cosmos and a Pegasus named Graceful Waltz – a dance instructor and a politician who lived in Canterlot. In the city of the high-class, Star Catcher was born and raised, the parents hiring a live-in teacher to make sure she was well-educated. Life was easy for Star Catcher, and she probably would have remained in the posh lifestyle had she not caught a glimpse of what life was really like for most ponies; as the family was heading out for dinner, the carriage they were riding in was came across a number of ponies scrounging to get by. Immediately she wanted to stop and help however she could, but her parents held her close, attempting to calm her protests as the carriage drove off past them with promises that they would do nothing but harm to her in return.

At the age of 12, Star Catcher was sent off the flight camp, however the instructors found that Star Catcher’s wings had become unusually big, already the size of a fully grown pony’s, and she would be unable to fly for very long even if she did eventually grow into them. Nevertheless they contacted her parents, and with their permission allowed Star to stay through another flight camp cycle to make sure she could safely take off and fly about. Of course, because of this safety precaution Star’s advancement through the camp was slowed, and because of this she had to see the ponies she had gotten to know in such a short time graduate and head off, only to be replaced by another batch as she continued her training – and whereas the first group had been understanding of her condition, the second group teased her about her wings, thinking her some kind of cripple when they found out she was a student just like them, rather than an instructor who was here full-time.

It wasn’t until the last week of the second group’s flight lessons that Star Catcher realized something – one of the ponies she was learning with wasn’t doing too well, and figuring that making friends was better late than never, she approached the mare, a wave of despair washing over her as she asked what was wrong. Of course, being one of the ponies who had been more vocal about Star’s “deformities”, and surrounded by her peers, she refused to say anything, instead resorting to vehement insults to drive the filly off. Nevertheless Star stood there, a sensation in her heart welling up as she craned her neck down, the white mare’s words seemingly not her own as she spoke to the other filly, before contacting the instructor and requesting that she be allowed to leave the camp to visit her mother in the hospital.

As the three of them checked into the hospital, the young pony quickly ducked into her mother’s hospital room, with Star and the instructor close behind. Her mother, a violet Pegasus, wasn’t doing very well, and Star began to wonder if there was anything she could do to help. Of course there was nothing she could do, with no medical background or knowledge outside of what to do to prevent a cut or scratch from getting infected, but the mare still felt the urge to help, as if something deep in her heart was urging her to make sure the mare would be alright. Slowly she approached the mother and daughter, the older Pegasus glancing up at Star with a pained, weary expression.

Immediately Star Catcher reeled back, possessed by the same urge that had driven her to speak to the other filly, and to inform the instructor that she needed to go to the hospital. Without thinking, she pressed the button to call the nurse, an annoyed-looking earth pony trotting in as she glanced about, before demanding to know why she had been called. Flinching a bit, Star began to have second doubts about her actions, but since she had already done this much, she decided to speak up, telling the nurse what her heart was driving her to say. It was a wild rush for the mare – there were a number of words she didn’t even understand, and a few that no filly her age should know how to pronounce, but the nurse stood there, her hardened expression softening as she recognized the words, quickly rushing out to inform the doctors of the possibility of being able to find something with another test.

With the visitation over, however, the three ponies left the hospital – they still had to continue their training. On the final day of flight camp, however, as the young graduate fillies walked up to the small stand to receive recognition of passing the camp, Star Catcher caught a glimpse of the mare who had been in the hospital, healed, with the young filly nestled up against her forehoof, wings wrapped about each other in a hug. A warm feeling began to nestle up in Star’s heart, and quickly she looked down at her flank, which now showed the sparkling heart.

Upon returning to Canterlot, however, her parents were shocked to find the mark on her flank was not the only markings that Star had received at Flight Camp, the two of them setting her in front of a mirror so Star could see the markings upon her forehead, hind legs, and under the wings as the two of them peppered her with questions about what she had been up to, the two ponies demanding she remove them as if they were tattoos – however after an intense and rather painful scrubbing, the parents finally gave up when they realized that the markings were not something she had done to herself, but rather a part of her cutie mark – the mare realizing her talent in sensing the emotions of others, empathizing with their pain, and acting to help ponies feel happy. Of course, with this newfound talent, Star began to sense much more than she would have ever wanted – after all, every pony had problems and issues – and some were so much more desperate for help than the filly/mother had been. It was driving the mare insane, and the fact that her parents would not only do nothing to help others down on their luck, but forbid that she help them was killing her inside.

On her nineteenth birthday, Star finally lost her temper, demanding to know why, if her parents had the wealth and resources to help some of the ponies with their problems, why they wouldn’t do so – only to be reminded that the ponies who were down on their luck were less important. Star, however, refused to believe this, the filly continuing to argue with her parents, who refused to bend on the matter, until Star, who couldn’t take it anymore, stormed out of the home and took off into the night sky, flying off in an arbitrary direction. She had some funds saved up – after all, her parents had taught her the importance of saving money – but nowhere to go now. At this point, however, anywhere but Canterlot would do. After flying for a good 3 hours – or more specifically, gliding from the Canterlot mountainside with her wings unfurled, catching as much air as she could, the mare finally touched down around a small town that looked cozy enough. She’d need to speak with ponies tomorrow, introduce herself – and perhaps speak with somepony about seeking employment. Surely they’d take in an awkward Canterlot Pegasus with massive wings, right?

As it was, thankfully they would – well, one would – a bright pink earth pony who greeted her with a gasp and a loud hello that had woken her up, almost causing her to roll off the cloud in alarm. The mare greeted herself as Pinkie Pie and asked her to come down, the Pegasus wondering what she had gotten herself into as she obliged, descending down to the dirt road below and greeting the mare and explaining she was new in town – a big mistake, Star soon found out, as the pink pony began to squeal excitedly and immediately began to make plans for a party, dropping her off at the Carousel Boutique with an apology and explanation that she now had plans to make. The proprietress of the Boutique, however, was more than happy to show her around – even if it took her the better half of an hour to calm the mare down once she had let slip that she was from Canterlot, the mare sorry to let her down and tell her that the high life wasn’t all she was romanticizing it to be.

After the brief tour around town – Rarity explained that she needed to stretch her legs anyway, as well as restock some fabric – the unicorn left Star Catcher in front of the Weather Control office, explaining that just about any Pegasus could find work here, since weather control was a government-funded job nowadays – and after speaking with the Pegasus at the lobby and signing some paperwork, Star Catcher was taken up to the skies for orientation – a brief reminder of the things she had learned in flight school as well as a few tips on how clouds were kept separated from each other to prevent any sort of incident. After a few days on the job, however, it was clear that staying aloft was too difficult with her wings, and so the weather captain offered her a job on the night shift – it would be harder to stay in the air, and visibility wasn’t as good, but she wouldn’t be as pressed for time as the day shift demanded of her and could clock out when she was finished, rather than have to stay awake to wait out the entire shift.
As it was, the night was much easier for the mare – not only was the night air considerably cooler, but the lack of sunlight made things easier on her eyes. She wasn’t alone either – there were a few ponies who had also taken the night shift, many of whom were curiously drawn to her; she was the new mare in town, after all, and by now Star Catcher had become accustomed to the stares of the other ponies, as she nervously introduced herself, the mare finally making a few friends in a more relaxed setting. Happy with her job, Star told the weather captain that she would prefer to stay on the night shift, the mare continuing to work alongside the other ponies. The mare’s life was uneventful – wake up, do what needed to be done in the day, go to sleep, wake up around 9:00 at night, and help with the night shift – which mostly comprised of positioning the clouds so that the day shift would have an easier time with the weather from 7-10 in the morning.

One night, however, as she was setting up the thunderclouds to the east of Ponyville, the mare, out of a mix of not watching where she was going and not being able to see very well without any sort of illumination other than a vest she wore to radiate light to help prevent collision, turned a corner about one of the clouds and collided into cold metal, the mare losing control and plummeting to the ground below, only just able to catch herself before hitting the ground, coming to a hover before touching down and glancing up, the mare unable to see what she had crashed into until the pony finally touched down in front of her – a thestral, clad in the uniform night-guard blue armor. Quickly Star apologized for the accident, asking him if he was alright, but the thestral remained silent, the stallion gazing upon her intently, as if checking for any injury, before muttering a single word in apology and taking off, leaving Star alone in the dark field to continue her work. When she got back to the other ponies, she explained what had happened, the ponies exchanging glances amongst each other before telling her the guard’s name, explaining that Whisper Wing had just been transferred over to Ponyville’s night watch. They’d seen him a few times while doing their rounds, but he never spoke to them or got in their way, so they really didn’t know anything about him.
The next time Star met Whisper was after a particularly tiring day, the mare trotting back toward the cloud that the Weather Team had given her as a temporary home when the sound of hooves stampeding about the alleyway caught her attention. Curious, the mare trotted over, her eyes widening as she was struck head-on by a running pony – an earth pony stallion. She’d only just caught a glimpse of him before the collision, the mare grunting as the force knocked her back, causing her to hit the ground hard as she winced, curling up to nurse her wing as the earth pony began to yell something out to the pony who had been persuing him – she was still too dazed and distracted by the pain to make out what it was, but she could tell just from the tone it hadn’t been pleasant.

Once the stallion had been arrested, the property that had been stolen confiscated to be returned, Star finally shuffled herself up, limping just a bit. The crash had done some serious damage to her right wing, bending it to a painful position, and had left her right side sore, the mare barely able to see the bruises on her forehoof, even if she was certain there were more. Wordlessly Whisper approached her again, looking her over without as much as a wince as he glanced at the bruises upon her shoulder, the underside of her wing, and along her right legs, before wrapping a wing about her and walking her to the hospital so that the nurses could take a proper look at her and see to it she was properly patched up. This time, however, Whisper stayed with the Pegasus, however even now he refused to speak, instead opting to stand vigilant as the nurse finished applying the bandages and offered to allow Star to rest to ease the immediate pain.

At last Star spoke, the mare unable to figure out anything about Whisper – even with her talent for empathy, she hadn’t been able to sense anything from Whisper other than a tinge of guilt over her injury. She introduced herself proper to the thestral, spoke of where she had come from, and even prompted him for a name or to tell her more about himself – but nothing came from him until the following morning, when Star Catcher was cleared to fly back home, the nurses advising she take the next few days off to allow it to heal. It wasn’t much, but the thestral offered his name, a pause, and then a curt apology before seeing her off.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and before long, Star Catcher had grown to befriend Whisper Wing. He wasn’t much in the way of conversation, but it didn’t matter; Star rather enjoyed the silence, and just the fact that Whisper was so quiet meant that she could speak to him as if she were speaking to herself. He never paused her, never asked her to stay quiet, and the two of them were happy; of course as time passed, news of the two of them began to spread, and soon rumors began to surface that the two of them had become a couple – and with Whisper never around to comment, most of the ponies flocked about Star, who continued to deny the claims, saying that she didn’t know what Whisper thought of her. It wasn’t until Star’s twentieth birthday that Whisper finally began to speak up, the normally stoic thestral unusually shy and uncomfortable. He explained that even in his squadron, rumors had begun to surface of the two of them – and moreso so he could shut them up rather than anything, he leaned in, asking Star if she would be his marefriend. Happily she accepted, wrapping her hooves about his back as the two of them cuddled up upon the cloud.

Months turned into years, the two of them continuing to spend time together when they both worked at night. By then, everypony in town knew of their relationship, and Pinkie, after a fair bit of convincing, had even refrained from throwing the two of them a party. Over time, the two of them began to live together, until at last Whisper finally dared to ask for Star’s hoof in marriage, which the Pegasus happily accepted.

.Post in Copper Strikes (EQE Approved version)
(I'mma have a talk with Randimaxis because he put the wrong version of my OC in the Non-Cast Archives section. *grumble grumble*) Gender: Stallion Age: Young Adult Species: Earth Pony A VERY blue Earth Pony with brown eyes, spiky blue mane and short blue tail. A yellow streak to represent his ability to run faster than the average Earth Pony. (The image down below, if that's where it is, shows his prototype cutie mark.) Copper is a no-nonsense pony who doesn't jump to conclusions and prefers to figure out a way to get things done faster. He sometimes takes things too seriously and needs some help by explaining the issues before he tries to take over a job. He is by no means a bad pony, he most certainly likes to play around, he just gets too serious when things get complicated. Rarely he could go in a state of a mental breakdown where he can't do anything at that point. In that case, he needs a lot of help to get back on his hooves. When he's not serious, his happy-go-silly personality shows. He is really playful and fun-loving, and likes to make jokes and do a couple of pranks to his friends. He knows when to stop fooling around when the jokes aren't necessary anymore. He is some of the best sportsmanship ponies in Equestria. Copper Strikes was originally born in Appaloosa, where he spent most of his colt-hood up to adult-hood, when he moved to Ponyville. He was the youngest of two brothers including himself, and he looked really adorable back then. He was shown to be hyper at some points, but otherwise he was like any other baby. Growing up with his parents, he listened to stories adventures by famous ponies, and he was fantasizing about being one of the greatest adventurers in Equestria in the future. His cutie mark came a little bit into his colt-hood. He was in a race with other colts in Appaloosa, and he was currently falling behind the leader. The leader taunted the blue colt for how slow he was, and it was getting to him right quick. And speaking of quick, his pace was starting to pick up slowly. The colt leading the race saw this and tried to go faster, but eventually Copper caught up and passed him mere seconds before the finish line. He crossed the finish line, and won the race, with the spectators who rooted for Copper cheering out loud. He felt proud of himself, and by then he saw his cutie mark. It was that of a yellow streak, which represented his talent for running faster than the average Earth Pony. Years later he would be described as one of the fastest Earth Ponies in all of Equestria. In his adult hood, Copper decided to move to Ponyville, where he called his new home. He currently resides in a house near Sugarcube Corner, and has taken the job of Ponyville's mail pony, delivering mail. Occasionally he does races, and whether he wins or loses, he has a great time. He dreams of one day being able to show how great he is on his hooves, plus he yearns to be an adventurer, telling many stories he'll have in the future.
