<p>The mare hadn't made it more than a few feet into the air when a number of armored ponies swooped down to the ground, intercepting her midflight, numerous pointed weapons positioned in a manner designed to box her in and prevent further motion. Her ears pinned back as one stallion, a rather burly-looking fellow, made his way down to her, barking orders.</p>
<p>The mare blinked once, awestruck. An attack? Then - these ponies were refugees. Star had many questions, but even without her special talent it was clear that the ponies in uniform had much more pressing matters than answering her questions. For now, she'd have to keep her head down, at least until she could figure out why she had been brought here. The mare glanced down, lowering herself down to a nearby alleyway where the stampede of ponies were not, watching the pegasi above. These pegasi were much bigger than she was used to - clearly these were not Butterfly Island pegasi - but their wingspans were no bigger than those of her people.</p>
<p>"Stay safe." she spoke, her ears perking up as she glanced at the retreating horde of ponies, guards on the ground rushing feverishly to keep the crowd under control. The mare frowned, and followed behind. First things first, she needed answers, preferably from someone at liberty to afford her the time of day.</p>

<p>The mare followed close behind, scared and confused as she had been this entire time, but even in these trying times, it warmed her heart just a bit to see ponies congregating to care for and protect one another. She could see that the robed ponies were tending to those who had been trampled underhoof, but because their backs were turned, she could not see the horns.</p>
<p>Slowly she walked through the small shelter that the group of ponies had taken refuge in, the mare trembling with each step. These ponies were hurt. Scared. The young, and those who didn't care what others thought about their personal image, wept openly. It made the mare sick to her stomach to not immediately dart to help, but she knew that to act without thinking, in what she had already to be discovered to be the site for an imminent battle, would get her killed.</p>
<p>"Excuse me..." she spoke, glancing to the mare reading to the foals, her ears pinning back as she stared at the mare - or, more specifically, her horn, her expression locked in terror as she observed the point upon the mare's head.</p>
<p><em>A Horned One.</em> Stunned, her eyes darted about the other ponies, only now noticing other ponies. Many of them were also Horned Ones; significantly less had no horns or wings. Many of the pegasi refugees were young; were the parents involved in the fighting, or were they elsewhere? Did they leave foals like this to fend for themselves at a young age?</p>
<p>The mare whimpered, her ears pinning back as she focused back on the robed unicorn in front of her, the out-of-place mare trying her hardest not to stare at the horn that extruded atop her skull.</p>
The mare could see the guards around the area, her right ear flicking once as she watched one of the Horned ones running over toward another part of the clearing. She didn't pay him much mind, but she could help but notice a strange hourglass marking on his foreleg. She blinked, her ears pinning back. Aside from being an interesting tattoo, why did she find her gaze drawn to it? Nonetheless, the stallion ran off, and the sensation subsided. Deciding not to think too much about it in the present moment, the mare glanced up at the sky, her eyes widening as she watched a number of birds swoop down to meet the pegasus guards in the air.
From the ground, she could see the bloody carnage above. Her legs trembled, and she could feel her resolve wavering. Nonetheless, she shook her head, her gaze returning to the ground as she spread her wings. "The ponies here need me. They need each other. They need hope." she spoke, to nopony in particular, her ears pricking up as she stepped out toward the line of guards who had stationed themselves in front of the chapel. "Is there a spare spear you can loan me?" she questioned, the needs of the ponies she had silently sworn to protect guiding her words and actions.
It had been years since the pegasi of Butterfly Island had needed to fight. That said, it was not an uncommon practice for the pegasi of the island to challenge each other in ceremony and as a means to improve oneself. Ever since Commander Hurricane had lead a small contingent of ponies to the Island as a means to preserve the race, the lessons they had learned had been integrated into their culture. Now, it was time for those lessons to be put to use, for the defense of ponykind.
<p><p>Hm. You know what? Count me in.</p></p>

<p><p>Star Catcher</p></p>
<p><p>History: Star Catcher hails from Butterfly Island, a tropical paradise to the East of Equestria that the Pegasi had established as a land base proceeding the conflict between pony tribes. Butterfly Island is, to the pegasus ponies, a promised land of sorts; at the time of the war, there was no way for unicorns or earth ponies to safely travel out to sea far enough to find the island, and any pony who was brave enough to venture forth and lucky enough to travel in the right direction found themselves drifting away from the island, as pegasi above controlled the winds and could prevent the would-be invaders from ever touching down upon the shore.</p>
<p>When the war ended, and Equestria was founded, the ships stopped. Pegasi came across the ocean to let their kin know that peace had been made, and there was no need for further hostilities. The mainland was safe once again. Many of the pegasi took the opportunity to migrate back to the mainland, but a small faction broke off as a pegasi colony; the land was bountiful enough that earth pony hooves were not needed to cultivate. In time, Butterfly Island became more and more secluded, as only a select few Pegasi even bothered to remember and keep track of its existance.</p>
<p>Without the rest of Equestria, the Pegasi of Butterfly Island adopted a tribal-like culture. Stories of the Horned Ones and the Stronghoofs were passed down from generations, as the ponies of the island lived together to make a fair living in harmony with the land.</p>
<p>Star Catcher's gift to her people is insight. With a glance, she can discern a pony's demeanor, if a pony is under a particularly strong emotion, she can sense why, within reason. Star is a sympathetic mare, and one who tries to help everyone she meets, but strong enough emotions, or a wish made in one's heart with no selfish intent can drive her to act to grant the deepest desires of the pony's heart.</p></p>
At this point, Star had plenty to be worried about. After all, she was in the middle of a city under attack, with no idea how she got here or why she had been summoned, surrounded by beings that she'd lived her entire life not knowing existed; all she had to go off of was the legends she had heard about the unicorns and earth ponies back when they had been raised for war.
"Celestia?" she questioned, glancing back at the unicorn. Was she some sort of higher being? A goddess? She couldn't be sure, but given the robes and charitable actions of the unicorn and the similarly dressed ponies, she could only assume that these mares seemed to treat her as some sort of deity. "I'm sorry, I'm just... lost... in a manner of speaking. Could you tell me who Celestia is?" she questioned.
Hello there this is a Rp that anypony can join. You can start your own, or replie to me via pm or here. Whatever your comfortable with. Here is my post.
Spell sat along a row of tress, overlooking the Everfree forest. He sighed softly. Adjust his hood a cloak. Looking around as he made his way deeper. The moon slowly rising over head, as the sun slowly slips below the horizon." Great. I tried to make it here, an low an behold. The sun is going down an the moon is upon us." With a irritating huff. He made his was. He head sinking low slightly, his ears drooping to the side." Would be nice to make a friend, who knows. I might've had a better time enjoying the forest then being alone." The wind blowing as it makes the trees away softly in the moonlight.
*soundwave had wandered for months, alone in the wilderness of equestria, he had went from a formidable desepticon, to a robot pony, he wondered if he could ever get back*
Silverspark:flying over the tree a young alicorn with a silvery coat and Violet blue eyes flying fast hey mane a light bluish color with a silver blue stripe as it flowed through the air "ah II cannot believe I lost my map to that timberwolf " she spoke to herself "landed Inca tree looking around get herself lost checking around for anymore danger" what were they thinking sending me on this task they know I am not meant for this but those for four will not listen "she checked her saddle bag making sure she has everything she needs before checking the sun then the moon
Silver Sparkle woke to the sound of loud voices outside of her mountain cabin. She rose slowly from her bed, careful not to disturb the kitten fast asleep on her bed. As she was reordering her ruffled bedsheets, she heard the sound again, expecting that her mother would take care of it. This is when she remembered, to her shock, that her mother was away, leaving her and Snowball alone. She ran from her room to the door that connected the cold, outside world with her warm living room. She peered out a frosted window to see before her two stallions speaking to one another. With a squeal, she ducked behind the door, hoping they had not seen her.
Dream would dodge roll to his left before throwing a flaming bottle out of his coat and at Defined as it would explode and spread fire on the ground next to him.
The Beast growling as it would ram it's body towards Orion
The Unicorn nods and quietly looks at the approaching horde as he looked to Defined and said, "Can you even Handle that? Blood is their drug."
<p>The Guard gave Orion a look before simply saying, "I have no time for your jokes, citizen. Everypony knows that us guards have to constantly rotate positions to deal with problems. It's the only way Canterlot has even lasted this long, through constant vigilance which you are getting in the way of. I suggest you go and get back into your home."</p>
The Priest quietly nods and simply goes about her business of tending to the refugees.
Dream smirks under the fabric that covered his mouth as he dashed forward, but as he did that, his body would suddenly become a gust of wind that went through the bolt as it continued to fly forward behind him until it hit a tree a few hundred feet away. Dream within seconds rematerialized as he had a huge cleaner out attached to his hoof that he used to slam Defined into the ground.
<p>Defined then felt something of a nick against his leg and soon his magic would wane and fade and fizzle. The Unicorn would growl and said, "Alright, tell me now how you are going to defend yourself when hit with metals made to disable magic. I make sure my troops here and trained to fight efficiently with even the loss of their special abilities such as flight or magic."</p>
<p>"Pretty brave of you to say, but there's a time for bravery and there's a time that protocol must be followed. Allowing a random pony to fight because they think their tough isn't the way this military works." The Unicorn said quietly before turning away and motioning for his troops to follow him.</p>
<p>The robed pony would tilt her head a bit confused by the question at first before nodding and saying, "Ah, that is simply my magic. Do not worry, The bowl doesn't bite." The robed pony even chuckled a bit at that last part to lighten the mood nefore saying, "You seem quite nervous, is there a problem? Or are you worried for your loved ones? If the latter is the case, know that the soldiers out there are always making sure each pony gets out alive. You have no need to worry about. I'm sure that under the forgiving light of Celestia, they will be fine." The hooded pony then began to levitate another bowl of soup and began to feed the foals some soup.</p>
<p>The Unicorn simply pointed in the direction of the shelter and said to Orion, "Head that way, there you will find the Mystics of Celestia, a holy order dedicated to the teachings of the Sun and practice their holy and charitable tenants."</p>
Dream Walker quietly sighs and said, "I fight so that these beasts may have homes, they may not seem like it, but deep down, they are remnants of ponies who were unfairly thrown out to die. This hatred has haunted them for centuries as their forms become more mangled and broken. I was a hunter, one who hunted these very beasts as a member of my order... Over time, my order questioned why we hunted the beasts, like those of my order, we both are creatures who gain power through the old blood... Now we work with the beasts who yearn for their homeland... Nothing personal, just a duty to those I owe."
His shouting only illicted more panic before a priest stood and stomped with a heavy thud to gain the attention of others. After calming the ponies down? the priest walls up to Orion and said, "You are not well versed in tongue, aren't you?"
<p>"I see, why not leave the fighting to the guards, you hardly look prepared for any sort of fight." Said one of the two guards that looked at Orion.</p>
<p>"That is if we can even get to them. They know how to work the other beasts into their favor. You'd have to be crazy powerful to think you have a chance with them." The guard said quietly as they soon enough reached the gate.</p>
