Please ask first. Gotta know the situation before you can be involved.] Scootaloo groaned hoarsely. Yeah.. Maybe going for that move wasn't the best idea. "Scoots, ya got's ta stop doing that." Applebloom chided. Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "I took a risk, Bloom. You gotta do that. Especially these days." "That was needlessly risky though. There were safer and more effective attacks." Sweetie spoke. They were in the Castle Infirmary. Scootaloo had taken the edge of a staff to the throat during training. She was immensely lucky her windpipe wasn't crushed. They had joined the guard after Ponyville had temporarily fallen, a year ago. Arguably, it was an impulse decision, however... Something told them this was right. They were still helping ponies, as they loved to do, and still helped with the whole cuitiemark deal on their off days. They had risen through the ranks of the Guards Corps quickly, although, Scoots was the lowest of them due to her reckless nature, Understandably so. It was then that Scootaloo noticed a poster put on the wall across from her cot.. A poster about the Solus Inquisitors. She clenches her fist. "Solus Inquisitors.. huh..?" She asks nopony in particular. Applebloom and Sweetie look at the poster as well. "Scoots, no. Being reckless won't get you in that unit." Sweetie says, trying to discourage her. "I don't care. I'll strive, I'll train until my heart gives out if I have to. Dash would ecourage me to push for it." Scoots says, her voice becoming mellow, but strained -- suppressed anger. Sweetie sighs. She couldn't deny that. Rainbow Dash, were she here, would encourage Scootaloo to strive for that unit. It was a new one, and was considered to be on equal footing with the solar Personal Guard. It was an elite unit. Only the best of the best could join and they faces the most serious homefront threats the Solar Empire could face. Domestic Terrorism, Traitors, Riots, stuff of that nature. Inquisitors got the absolute toughest training possible, and were required to display uptmost loyalty to Empress Daybreaker. Scoots fit the bill, for that second part. If any of them fit that bit, it was Scoots. "Well you won't be doin' this alone, Scoots. We're a team We do this together." Applebloom says, eliciting a reluctant, yet sincere nod from Sweetie.
