On 05/28/2020, Sergeant Darren Cuffs #0287 was assigned to a detail alongside Equestrian Ranger Cally Ber #11597. This assignment included the apprehension of a suspected individual that was found to be involved in a pony trafficking operation. Sergeant Cuffs alongside Ranger Ber began their search for this individual in an unmarked patrol unit. Roughly 3 hours into their search, Sergeant Cuffs had noticed a vehicle's plates that matched with the partial plate number given to them from the APB. Sergeant Cuffs and Ranger Ber followed the vehicle into a parking lot and quickly pulled behind it, lights flashing. The Sergeant and Ranger got out first, approaching the vehicle quickly. Ranger Ber flashed her badge to identify herself as a Ranger with the Federal Marshals as Sergeant Cuffs stood by.
