Most of the time she really didn't mind it - she had adjusted to life as a weak earth pony running a shop no one visited. She had adjusted to living on her own in the back room. She had even adjusted to Gumball not replying to her letters. All of that was fine. Sure, no one would notice if she vanished off the face of the earth, but that was fine too. But sometimes, she'd catch a glimpse of her reflection in the glass of a shop window, or she'd flex the muscles in her back, and a wave of melancholy would wipe the cheerful smile from her face. Bubblegum sighed, and stopped walking. She sat on a bench and watched a ladybug crawl across the sidewalk through the slats. Maybe she would go to the tea shop later. Maybe she would just turn around and go back to the shop. It really didn't matter what she did - nothing felt important. Maybe she would just stay here awhile.
