One Final Moment Precursor to Starfall

A short while after teleporting to the Castle, Aurora had split off from everyone else. She'd seemed to shut everyone out as she ventured her way through the halls of the castle and to the library. She'd not been here very long, and had been unsure about so much... Yet, here she stood. Her chest hurts so much...like whatever was near, whatever had caused the web to waver, was still there. But Ozark wasn't near... Not yet. Rosa had remained in Lilith's bedroom, standing idle guard over her, Octavia, and Vinyl. She would be a new face for the King. At least, it would seem. Emotionless, focused, a Lunar Guard from the past, maybe. But in the silence, the moments when normal guards were Lilith's protection, Rosa was there. Lurking. Waiting. The Queen was smart to bring her aboard as a personal guard. Proclaiming herself and Umbral Guard. A pony that could see between two different worlds. Then there was Phoenix, lounging about with Angelica. Being...oddly quiet Finally, a final party, the piece of the puzzle that seemed to never fit in; Camille. Where was the fighter? Why was she waiting to strike? Was she limited? Or testing the resolve of others? Aurora looked to the black book in front of her and flipped it open. No longer did it feel cold, but now it felt...like home. Or, was it the library itself? She suddenly gasped and turned around, finding a single book floating in front of her. The magic keeping it in place a rich silver. The image on the front depicting her necklace. She slowly reached out and touched it. Her eyes began to glow a vivid white as she could see different worlds. Different times. Different Lies. The book dropped to the floor as the glow in her eyes subsided... She saw the truth. She saw the world as it truly was. Something snapped within the witch, and she felt the weight of magical energy envelop her very being. In a flash she teleported out of the castle, and crossed the shield that'd been placed before teleporting again. Alone. Except she wasn't. She stood across from another pony- no, another being. "Finally. You found it. I was wondering when you'd see the truth in all of this, sister. I never wanted to harm you, I wanted to destroy the ones that took you from me. Join me, Aurora Sparkle. Join your big brother... Ozark." Aurora slowly approached the stallion, shadows seeping from his body...before she'd fall into a hug... "Together, we will right their wrongs." To Be Continued...
