That selfless, weak pegasus is named the great survivor, Charlie Blaze. They were the royal guard's long-lost leader from thousands of years ago, long before Princess Celestia and Luna were ever known as a royalty. Charlie was destined to be the ruler of the great army, but an evil creature came to Equestria, where Charlie originally lived. That creature was named, Zephiles. A draconequus, also well known as the grandfather of Discord, the lord of Chaos.

Zephiles admired Charlie's position and challenged them to a battle. He offered that if he won, he'd get the honour of ruling over the Equestria, but if Charlie held strong, they'd keep their position. Charlie didn't hesitate to respond with yes, confident of their victory. Hours struck the clock after they began their battle, Zephiles was losing and Charlie was getting weaker and weaker by the minute, and both were worn out. Charlie began to blast their final plasma of power, but they knew that even though they'd win, their power was too strong, and the consequence of its use was to transition slowly into a blank Abyss. It struck Charlie with pain, but this was for the nation, the civilians, not for anything else.

Charlie struck her last blast of magic and conquered Zephiles. With proudness and relief overtaking their emotions, grateful that their land was saved, they slowly drifted off to Abyssinia. They remained there for centuries, with no escape, or so they thought. Charlie was saved by a clever friend by the name of Dellius, the well-known heroic warrior from the book of Gelanias (Ram/Unicorn being from ancient mythology). They both fled from the cold, quiet aura of Abyssinia to the Crystal Empire.

Charlie hid themself soonly after they returned to Equestria. They know they will need to reveal themselves to their beloved nation one day, with Twilight Sparkle as the current ruler of this breathtaking, elegant land. It was going to soon be time, very soon...
