View MoreThere's nothing like involuntary time off this time of year; crisp fall mornings, dipping in to your savings for a warm coffee, and brisk trots between strip mall temp agency offices. You see, Hoofwell's Uptown Grocers quarterly earnings had posted just the other day, and to the surprise of very few, the company had failed to meet its projected earnings. This left Hoofwell's in a very tight spot for the holiday season. And like any feral beast, Hoofwell's was intent on gnawing it's own leg off to save itself from a worse fate. This self preserving sacrifice took the form of shuttering several underperforming locations throughout Canterlot and Ponyville. Including Chelsea's. Not to worry though, fortune favors the oblivious, or something like that. For one reason or another, instead of being let go like many others, the 2 year tenured grocery bagger and trial mix subject matter expert had found herself set to transfer out to a new West Canterlot location... In six weeks! All of this has left Chelsea surprisingly unbothered, really her only worry this morning is what exactly she'd be occupying herself with over the next month and a half. "Oh!" The for-hire mare exclaimed as she skid to a stop. Before her, duct-taped directly to the brick, displayed a banner "Temp Fair - Come On In!" It was like a sign from above! Literally, it was placed quite high in the archway. Either way, this was not an opportunity to pass up. The possibilities began to bubble up in her mind as she pranced inside and made her way to the rented office space. Chelsea stopped just as she passed through the open doorway, her soft lilac eyes scanning the room with caution expression that quickly fell to disappointment upon realizing most of the tables sat empty. Aside from one one at the far end of the room it seems. She took her time examining the characters occupying the space. A taller grumpy man, and this lady thay was just... So Pink! "Well.." Chelsea picked up her posture, prancing steadily over to the two who appeared to have a litany of resumes to review already. This didn't discourage Chelsea of course. Just before reaching their work space Chelsea produced her resume, neatly folded in to a small square. "Hey! Are you guys still looking for help?" She queried, placing her unfolded document on the table. The resume itself was more or less professional looking, save for the smeared ink where there the creases were made in the folds too soon after printing.
