He sighs as he looks out to the night sky, there is no turning back now, this is the path he has chosen. Knight walks into his tent in the camp, he looks in the mirror and stares at himself for a moment, he doesnt remember the last time he smiled. Right now its just him in the mirror, then suddenly he see's Princess Twilight Sparkle standing next to him smiling, its hard to believe that she is no longer by his side, they were once set to be married... now they could not be further apart. He shakes his head and closes his eyes, when he opens them again he sees Starlight smirking at him, she was a good friend to him, she always believed that there was good in him, he shakes his head again and looks away. "Why?" A voice calls, he turns to the mirror, its Rainbow Dash, "You said you were loyal, you would always be by our side," she says and Knight shakes his head trying to ignore it and looking down. "You helped me grow plenty of trees and you saved so many little animals," A soft voice calls, Knight looks up slowly, "There was so much kindness in you, where did it go?" Fluttershy asks with a tearful face. "No.." Knight mumbles to himself as he closes his eyes tight, "Ya was never good at hiding who ya were," another voice says and Knight grits his teeth and looks at Applejack, "why can't you be honest with yerself?" "You wouldn't understand," Knight argues as he shakes his head and walks around, "Darling... you always gave everything you had to make something beautiful, why do you only take now?" Rarity says, "Your coat isnt as beautiful as it once was," she says and Knight shuts his eyes tight, "Stop.." he says softly. "We were best friends... why did you throw us away? We should be having a best wedding ever party," Pinky Pie says as she smiles sadly at him, her hair flat and her eyes full of tears, "are we still friends?" she asks. "STOP IT!" he yells and his shadow blows out the candles and fire that lit up his tent. It became quiet and he thought it was over, he tried to calm his nerves, he has to get ready, he has to put on his armor, he looks at the mirror and freezes. There stands Princess Twilight Sparkle, she smiles sadly at him and she says nothing. "Dont look at me that way.." he says and she stays quiet, "I didnt want it to come to this.." he says and she only looks into his eyes. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO LOOK AT ME THAT WAY! YOU LEFT ME TO ROT AS THEY ALL TREATED ME AS A MONSTER!" he yells growling and tears fall from her eyes. "I have to do this..." he says and she shakes her head, " YOU HAVE NO SAY IN IT! YOU LEFT ME BEHIND!" he yells and she puts a hoof to her heart. Knight shakes his head," No... any love I felt you took when you left.." he says as his eyes glow red but she only looks at him pleadingly, but darkness begins to consume his heart. "You should have looked at me that way before you abandoned me," he says turning away gritting his teeth, she looks at him for a few more moments before she she turns away, she looks at him once more before walking away into the darkness. Knight looks down, is it over? He breathes deeply, but then there is a drop on the floor, and another, he reaches up to his face, tears fall and keep falling. He looks at his paw wet with his tears..he cannot let himself falter now, but he starts whimpering until he can no longer contain himself and he cries in the darkness, he cries and feels a huge pain in his chest and he wants to stop, he wants to go back to what things were, "No... I cannot turn back...NO NOO!" he yells. Outside of his tent others heard him yell and were concerned, until there was a roar that shook the ground. They watched as his tent then opened up, he walks out in his battle armor and sword at the ready and his eyes closed as he took in a deep breath. He seemed calm but there was something different about him, he then opens his eyes and the monsters seemed alarmed. No longer did he have glowing red eyes, the entirety his eyes were of the darkness black and his pupils were but tiny red dots. "Recall all the troops, cease all humanitarian aid, it is time we destroyed this world, from now on, we only kill all we see," he says and the monsters gasps. Many of them believed in Knight when he promised to one day have them live side by side with the other creatures of this world. Knight notices their hesitance, he growls lowly then roars out loud, his roar is different, it isnt meant to scare them, instead, they start growling, they start feeling feral, they start feeling hungry, soon they roar back as their eyes glow red ready to spill as much blood as they could, they roar into the night raising their claws and weapons. Inside Knights tent stood the mirror he looked into, cracked and broken.
