View MoreIn the middle of silent space, just beyond Earth’s atmosphere, it appeared as if a hole was torn through space itself, creating some form of gateway, or opening. Mere seconds after the opening was created, a swift ship flew through, and just as it did, the opening snapped shut, leaving no evidence of the warp gate behind. Shining bright, just ahead, was Earth. That big, round blue ball. Covered in water and lush greens, filled with various biomes ranging from hot to cold, snowy to sunny. An interest planet, indeed. The creatures that inhabited it were even more interesting, with their capabilities to use magic to extremely effective degrees, and is what drew Kro’ta back after previous hunts on this planet. Kro’ta stared at the planet as he approached with his one remaining eye, navigating the ship towards a proper landing zone. A jungle. It was hot, which was preferred, and it was away from anyone or anything. It was highly unlikely he’d be spotted, so he could remain covert for as long as he chose to stay to conduct further research, explore their language and of course, hunt worthy game. Kro’ta entered the atmosphere, and as he did so, he reached over the console that contained a plethora of controls for the ship, and pressed down on a button. The moment he pressed the button, a static-like effect washed over the ship, before its cloaking device activated, rendering it nearly invisible. He set the course of the ship before he turned and rose from his seat, and stalked off towards his armoury of gear. As he did so, he cast a glance towards his collection of trophies set up, which just so happened to contain the skull of the very creature he aimed to further study. He reached the large, study metallic doors and punched in a lock combination. As he entered the code, the sound of shifting locks could be heard, before the doors slid open, revealing its contents. Inside sat numerous weapons and gear, with most being beyond the technology and capabilities of this planet. In the middle, sat his Bio Mask, which was heavily damaged on one side from the day he lost his eye. The mandibles covering his face shifted upon seeing the mask, letting out a few low, quiet little clicks, almost like a purr as he expressed a hand and grabbed hold of the mask. He lifted the mask to his face and placed it on, before taking two wires and plugging them in to secure and lock the mask in with two satisfying ‘clicks’! Just as Kro’ta geared up, he returned to the pilot seat of his ship and took over manual control, flying the ship down towards the planets surface. All around him, he saw nothing but the lush, thick, green jungle environment. A perfect hunting setting, and the perfect place to lay low! As he got low enough, the trees around the ship began to rapidly sway from the ships propulsion, causing numerous branches to snap off and fall to the jungle floor. He found a clear zone to land, and eased the ship downwards, until it finally contacted the ground for a safe and steady landing. Rising from his seat once again, Kro’ta flicked a switch on the console upwards, which caused a door near the back of the ship to slide open, and a ramp to protrude out to form a walkway onto the planet. He walked down the ramp and stepped out into the intense heat of the jungle, all while scanning his nearby surroundings. Lifting his arm, he pressed a button on his wrist gauntlet, which acted like a controller for the ship. The ramp extending from the ship slip backwards into the ships body, and then the doors shut behind it. Kro’ta emitted a few little clicks from beneath his mask, his thermal vision gaze travelling from left to right along the jungle scenery. He began to step away from his ship, and as he did so, tapping a button on his wrist gauntlet, which caused a static effect to wrap around him, before concealing him with a cloak, just like his ship. The cloak was imperfect, and could be seen with a keen eye if the hunter was moving, making it easier to see the faster he moved. If he stood still or moved very slowly, however, it was near impossible to spot.
