Siren courting

This largely depends on the species, but, most of them tend to like to bring the one they want to court something special to them, maybe a rock, or a plant, or even just some sand. And then others tend to like to bring them things they have caught, to show they can provide and be a good mate, these gifts are very special to sirens, and to be turned down is very depressing for them, some have lost the luster of their scales, and, in the worst case scenarios, have died of heartbreak. There aren’t that many documented cases of Sirens trying to court ponies or any other species outside of their own. (This is mainly in blog form for convenience lol, and it’ll prolly have more added to it later but this what y’all are getting for now, so that I just don’t forget about it oof)
