(And here we come upon the most important event that changed the course of my series forever, and also started an annual event on the 15th of January every year, the one... The only... Operation: Final Battle! The first one too! In this tale, we come upon our heroes as they take to the Maelstrom Tower, where the fateful meeting between light and dark collide. Stickman VS. The Darkitect, the biggest battle that was foretold in the prophecy. Will he succeed? Find out in this friendship letter! Let's do this!)
CHAPTER 1: A STORMY ENTRANCE
Stickman and his friends prepared to make their way into the maelstrom storm. Stickman gripped the pilot bars tightly as he maneuvered his way through the storm. While Jewel, Skye and Skystar were strapped into their seats, the others were trying to find a way to hold onto something. Stickman was sweating as the maelstrom storm got thicker and thicker, and it almost seemed as if they were done for. Thankfully, thanks to Gary's nano technology, the shields and windows were holding up just fine. "Are you sure we're going to make it, Stickman?" Jewel said as she firmly grasped the sides of her seat. "I'm... Almost... positive! Just... gotta hold a bit more!" Stickman said as he pushed the piloting bars forward. Stromlings started latching onto the HQ as it went through the storm. "Oh no you don't!" Gary said as he pressed a button. A couple of lasers shot the stromlings off the windows, and any further ones trying to latch on. "Gotcha!" Gary said. "Almost... there..." Stickman said as he concentrated forward. The HQ made it through the storm entrance as they happened upon the maelstrom tower in the middle of it. It was bigger than before, however...
CHAPTER 2: ON THE FRONT
Stickman and his friends noticed that there was a ton of stromlings flying around the tower. Stickman then ordered everyone to get to the spaceships, to which they did. Gary and Fluttershy took on the ones that were near the top of the tower, and Jewel and Blu took on the ones that were more near the lower parts of the tower, to make an opening. I opened coms with each of the ships as they flew out. "Remember what we're fighting for, everyone. It's all or nothing this time, and if we go down here... our friends... and family... go down with us. The stakes are high... may Celestia have mercy on us all." Stickman said. "Roger!" Gary, Fluttershy, Blu, and Jewel said over the coms. They went to work and started destroying all of the stromlings that flew around the tower. As they did, we go towards the tower, only to be blocked off by the same dragon that knocked Stickman off of Skystar back in Equestria. "Alright... you wanna go? Let's go." Stickman said confidently as he fired up the blasters. Maneuvering in and out of the weaves of the dragon, and avoiding the dragon fire, The HQ got to work taking down the dragon. Stickman launched a torpedo out toward the dragon. Direct hit! The dragon went down into the storm. Cynder and Flashwing, on board the HQ, cheered at seeing that. "One less evil dragon in the sky!" Cynder said triumphantly. "It's not over yet. We still gotta get inside!" Stickman said. "You do, brother, we gotta stay out here and keep the HQ safe. Otherwise how are we gonna get home?" Jewel said over the coms. "Good point. Alright, i'm heading in, guys. Air force, cover me as I make my way in." Stickman said as he went toward the hangar. He went down and strapped himself into the cannon that was in the hangar. Skystar went into the pilot seat and aimed for the opening in the swarm. "Fire!" Stickman said as Skystar pressed the button. I was fired into the tower. It was time.
CHAPTER 3: STORMING THE TOWER
Once Stickman burst through the entrance to the tower, some stromlings got defeated upon his landing. He took out the pencil sword and started making his way up the tower. The Darkitect, in a projection, appeared before Stickman. "Well, well. If it isn't the one told in the prophecy." The Darkitect said. "Come to finally give my due?" Stickman swiped his sword, then pointed it at the Darkitect. "Your reign of terror ends here and now, Darkitect! You will not have control of our worlds!" Stickman said, confidently. "Oh really. What do you think I've been doing this whole time? Your pathetic worlds are being taken over as we speak. Your entire families... your friends... All that you know and love... Mine for the taking!" The Darkitect said. Stickman leapt at the Darkitect, screaming in rage. He teleported behind Stickman. "Tsk tsk. Such a haughty fellow. If you wish for death so badly... Come face me then!" The Darkitect said as he disappeared. Stickman, full of rage and revenge, stormed toward the throne room, slaughtering any stromling in his way. There were now stromling unicorns and creatures from all the worlds we've visited. Stickman, now crying as he realized the severity of the situation, moved quick and fast through the tower's halls. He was hoping that killing the stromling creatures along the way would set them free. He finally reached the throne room, and burst open the door.
CHAPTER 4: LIGHT AND DARK COLLIDE
Stickman made his way into the throne room. "Ahh. I see you finally arrived." The Darkitect said as he sat up from his throne. Stickman then gripped his sword, took off his shades, and put them in his pocket. "You did this to me, Darkitect. You denied me of a normal life... You've taken away everything i've loved near and dear... And now... I'm going to take it all away from you!" Stickman said. He lunged toward The Darkitect. He teleported way behind Stickman, toward the door, which shut. "Indulge me for a few, Stickman. Why do you fight? What purpose is there in this fair universe?" The Darkitect said. Stickman looked at him. "Well... I fight because it's right. It's what my mission is. I fight because there are living, breathing creatures out there in this fair universe that deserve a better life. A better one than you gave me." Stickman said, still angry. "But is there more... to life? Than just fulfilling some... prophecy a light told you about? What more could there be?" The Darkitect said. "There is. It's living the way you want to live... how you want to live... and not just being told what to do all the time. It's... being free, Darkitect." Stickman said. "True. But why do you choose this way, Stickman?" The Darkitect said, his cape flowing behind him. "Because I want to. I want to help those who cannot help themselves." Stickman said, turning toward The Darkitect. "Well. If you want to help those who cannot help themselves..." The Darkitect said as he powered up his staff. "Then I'll send you right there myself!" The Darkitect launched out some maelstrom magic at Stickman, to which he dodges. Stickman gripped his sword, and put on his shades. "This is it, Darkitect. You and I... light versus dark..." Stickman pointed out his sword, a small breeze blowing through the throne room. The two stared down each other. "Let's do this." Stickman said, and he launched toward The Darkitect.
CHAPTER 5: THE FATEFUL FIGHT
With a high blow, Stickman sliced at The Darkitect. He blocked it and scooted back. Stickman then launched the sword at The Darkitect, making it rebound off of his staff, which he was using to block. With elegance and grace, Stickman managed to keep throwing the sword at the staff every time it came back to him. When there was an opening, however, The Darkitect launched some maelstrom fireballs at Stickman, to which one hit him, knocking him back. He grabbed the Pencil Sword mid-spin and got to work furiously slicing at The Darkitect. "That all you got, Stickman?!" The Darkitect said. "I'm just getting started!" Stickman said as he kicked The Darkitect back, to which he skidded back some more. The Darkitect then launched a ball of maelstrom at Stickman, to which he jumped up on and around. Upon landing, Stickman sliced at the Darkitect again, him blocking each blow. "Face it, you'll never defeat me, hero!" The Darkitect said as he laughed evilly. Full of courage and rage, Stickman picked up the pace on the furious slicing. A blow was struck to the Darkitect as Stickman sliced upward. Stickman then tossed the Darkitect and his sword upward, jumping off of it and hitting The Darkitect as he threw the sword back and forth between blow by blow. He then used the sword to launch The Darkitect toward the ground. He then jumped from a projection of the sword and thrust the Pencil Sword downward into The Darkitect. With rage still inside him, he kept stabbing The Darkitect with the sword. Stickman yelled in rage. After a couple of stabbings, he took a breath and took the sword out of The Darkitect, who was somehow still alive. Stickman then grabbed his staff and snapped it in two, sending out a shockwave. Outside, the stromlings that got struck by the shockwave fell. The Darkitect got up, clutching his chest. "You got gumption, kid. And the fighting spirit." He said, struggling to catch his breath. "But I will bury you... with me!" The Darkitect said as he launched out another shockwave, making the tower start to crumble. Stickman then turned toward The Darkitect and then towards the door. He ran towards the door and burst out of it.
EPILOGUE: A DARING ESCAPE
Stickman then realized that the path between the throne room and the path to the main tower was broken off. "Crap. Now what?" Stickman said as he put the Pencil Sword away. He looked down into the maelstrom storm, and sighed. "Only one option, I guess." Stickman said. He jumped off the broken path. Inside the throne room, The Darkitect crawled to his throne, smiling. "We'll meet again, Stickman... But for now... you've won... See you real soon... hero." He said as he closed his eyes, a rock crushing the throne. As Stickman fell, a ship grabbed him. It was Blu and Jewel! "Hey, need a ride, brother?" Jewel said as she flew back to the HQ. Once back in the HQ, Stickman got the HQ out of the Maelstrom storm, which was collapsing in on itself. Once it couldn't collapse in on itself no more, it sent out one final shockwave. Each world that was under control by the Maelstrom lit up with light as the stromlings disappeared. Everyone started cheering for the USF. The Maelstrom was no more... for now. A few days later, Stickman and Jewel were by the beach side in Rio De Janeiro. Skye and Skystar were there too. Stickman was in a beach chair, sipping a special ink drink. "You think we'll ever see the Darkitect again?" Jewel said. "I... don't doubt it. He seemed to be barely alive after I stabbed him a bunch of times... but we'll see." Stickman said. Stickman looked toward the sky. "Wherever you are, Darkitect... If you come for us again... We'll be ready." Stickman said. Peace was restored... for now.
THE END!
