Name: Aurora Sparkle
Appearance: Purple. This mare is a lot of purple. From her tri-tone purple mane and tail, both long and well brushed, to her violet eyes. To the...stars? There is a darkened swirl along her body that houses the many bright spots that look and seem to glow like stars. Depending on spells, they brighten with them! She wears a black choker adorned with a crescent moon, as well as a metal tail-tie, and a metal foreleg bracelet. She's just below average for size, standing shorter than a normal mare her age. Her physique is quite average as well.
Personality: Aurora is a mysterious mare, with many mysterious attributes and abilities. She shows kindness and understanding first, but with these positives has grown untrusting of those around her. Betrayal is a mane flick away, after all. Her voice is often warm, smooth even, but with a small crack in certain words and heavy pronunciations. She is often studious, preferring to spend her time in libraries than to be at a party. If there isn't a book in front of her, something is either wrong, or she's being distracted by another flaw of her own... her attraction to the same-sex (more on that later). But the biggest point; she will do anything for her friends. For those closest to her. She's a critical thinker, but that doesn't mean she won't fall to...persuasion.
Occupation: Arcane Witch | STAR Huntress
Rank: Adviser | Nova
Abilities: Magic is the name of the game. Her studies have brought many, many spells and abilities under her practice. Ranging from mundane levitation to the dangerous use of a magic bullet. From the simple Star Spawn revealing magics to Star Spawn destroying magics. Finally, she's been brought into a new flame by Artemis- the Arcane. Between Unicorn Magic, STAR* Magic, and Arcane, she is a ticking timebomb of abilities waiting to be unleashed.
*STAR Magic should not be confused with any sort of "Star" magic.
Likes: Females, Studying, Silence, Star Gazing, Rain
Neutral: Males, Alcohol
Dislikes: Stress, Conflict, Noise, Injustice
Romantic Interests: In a budding relationship with Honeymoon Crescent and Diana
Family: Lost to Time
Fears and Phobias: Arachnophobia, Proditiophobia (fear of being betrayed), Social Anxiety
Backstory: History is written by those who have seen the evidence. But how can history be written for a mare that very little is known? Take for example her life. She claims to be from a distant past, but there is no evidence to support this. She claims to be from the Stars above, but only her powers support such a claim. History, when written, is malleable. Twisted and turned until facts become fleeting nuances to other virtuous claims.
So, history claims that Aurora has always been a student...she originally claimed to be a student of Luna, but no pony here knows of a "Luna." Not some gender swapped King Artemis, either. No, instead, this Luna turned out to be a mare named Lunaria. A pony that claimed to have been murdered by Artemis- Nightmare- in a dark time. Now she resides within, her soul linked to Aurora's.
But is this true? How much of Aurora's life is fact? How much fiction? She isn't a mare to lie, but she's easily manipulated by the lies of others.
Modernly, she's content with just being a bookish mare, but sadly her duties have drawn her into a different calling that she wants out of. The knowledge isn't worth the pain...
