Talent Show

It's been a while since Nar, and his two best friends have gotten to just hang out. Sure, they've gotten to meet up at restaurants, and done some band practice. However, there's always been others present during those meetings. It's just not the same as Nar, Asuka, and Juno hanging out by themselves. This afternoon, the trio is on a walk down to Ponyville's shopping district to look at a local entertainment store. "I'm just glad you're doing better, man. Finding out you ended up in the psych ward was some scary shit." Juno tells his best friend as he wraps an arm over his shoulder, and jostles him about. "Yeah. Me too. I've been staying on top of things since then. Autumn and I have been talking about her moving in after she's released, and I want to make sure she's not having to look after me all the time." Nar responds, flashing his friends a bright smile. "Awww, does that mean no more band practice at your house?" Asuka pouts playfully, folding her arms. "Probably not. We'll just have to make sure she gets some quiet time for her writing." After a moment, Juno lets his friend go. Rounding the corner into the shopping district, Nar slams into something fairly large. Taking a step back, he sees that what he ran into was not a wall placed in the middle of the sidewalk. Oh no, it's MUCH worse! Looking down at Nar with a smug grin (with a hint of surprise) is none other than A-List actor, Silver Stone. Flanking him is his large, minotaur bodyguard, and some sort of stylist. "Watch it, you nobody." The actor scoffs, dusting Nar's presence off of his clothes. Nar's mood instantly sours. His bright smile contorting into a serious scowl. Not THIS asshole! "Why the hell are YOU here?" He growls from behind gritted teeth. "Filming a movie. Why else do you think I'd be in this shithole?" Nar opens his mouth to respond, but is cut off by Asuka's sheepish voice to his right. "H-hi." Nar can't believe his eyes when he looks over. Asuka is staring at Silver with her chin tucked, a huge blush running across her face, and she's waving like a schoolgirl with a crush! Silver flashes her an admittedly charming smirk, and a wink, before turning back to Nar. "Now move it, loser." He places his arm on Nar's chest, and attempts to push him aside. Nar can see his expression slip for a moment when Nar resists, and Silver only manages to make him take a step back. Tension builds in the air. Silver's bodyguard takes a step forwards. Juno's hand slowly claps down on Nar's shoulder. The two friends share a look that only they understand the meaning of. Both faces harden, but after a moment, Nar steps aside. Silver smirks triumphantly, then swaggers past the two friends. "That's right. Know your place." His entourage follows him as he rounds the corner out of sight. Nar, and Juno stare at the corner for a few moments. Then, they notice ASuka standing on the street corner with a dreamy smile on her face. "Asuka!" Nar shouts, baffled. Asuka instantly snaps in his direction, suddenly annoyed. "What?!" The two best friends fix her with a hard glare, prompting her to add "He's hot!"  The pit in Nar's stomach tells him this won't be the last he sees of Silver in the coming weeks.
