This scroll would come with a strange amulet attached to it. This amulet had many runes carved into it, these runes overlapping each other and forming a strange yet oddly intricate pattern all over. The scroll would read as followed: "Forgive me for not having written in some time....A lot has happened. Lets start with some good news. One of our alien friend's people decided to join us. We faced an attack that we were not prepared for. These otherworldly beings, each different from the other and wielding strange guns of an unknown origin. They were pitch black in form yet had this odd white aura about them....They ambushed us and waisted no time firing. The energy from them, the energy their guns fired at us, the creatures themselves...It was a lot..Myself and Flair took to defense but we were quickly overwhelmed. We were fortunate that the Requian soldier came to our aid and fought off the horde. By the way, I would appreciate it if you had Flair teach all of your guards to use arcane to change their equilibrium. The way Requians move continues to amaze me." "Thanks to our new companion, we made it alive. After death, it seems those creatures disintegrate and leave behind a strange black residue with the same white aura. The Requian soldier, Corporal Mariana, told us that they just lost a lot of people to those creatures. She told us that the residue is some sort of paracausal corruption, the same corruption that apparently changed the creatures....I still dont know what it means, but my concern for Obsilion grows.....Mariana that day told us that Obsilion was taken from them...It is still unknown to this day if he lives." "Moving on. Forgive me for the long one. The amulet that I am sending with this letter is special. We found it sometime after the attack when we finally made down to the shore. Took a day and a half of travel. It was buried in sand. I ran the usual general spell checks and the amulet came back clean. Then I put it on... The amulet allows you to enter straight into the spirit world once you put it on. Your entire physical being is transported once the amulet is on. Take it off, you come back. The amulet seems to put the user on a safe path through the spirit world, but you're also allowed to wander and go as deep as you wish. I figured I could let you hold onto it for now. We can trade when we meet again." "We spent some time camping out and building a suitable raft for use to sail to sea on. Though a ride would've been nice, according to our Corporal, the instructions left behind for them were very clear one taking this journey by hoof. On the other side, they'd appear in what seemed to be a mirrored version of Canterlot and the castle. This mirror world seemed to be made of a dark energy as everything seemed physical, yet nonexistent. The feeling this domain gave, it was most definitely hostile.
