Back in 2019 I had my appendix removed as it had ruptured during surgery and spent 6 days in the hospital. Shortly after I noticed my heart would sporadically begin to race without doing anything strenuous. It would happen every few months or more so I dismissed it. Well in 2021 I began to notice that besides the rapid heart rate, I was more fatigued than normal, I would get winded just walking short distances and would have to stop and catch my breath. Around July I was having my heart race at least once a week. The 4th week I had gotten off the bus to walk home, turned the corner onto my street and it began to race. Normally I would sit down and take deep breaths til it went back to normal but there was nowhere to sit. I made it to a neighbors house where they had these concrete things in their yard. Sat there for 15 min and my heart rate wasn't slowing. Managed to make it home and laid down on my bed with the fan on til it slowed down. It took me an hour to walk home, and scared me to death. I called around my next day off to get a primary care physician as some were accepting new patients. Unfortunately the appointment wasn't until October, but they had a walk-in clinic. Went there my next day off and they did an ekg and said I had a slight heart murmur. Drew blood and took a urine sample. Instructed me that if it happened again to call 911. Left there and apparently missed a phone call from them. Called back but they couldn't tell me what it was about. Had a message on mychart and turns out my hemoglobin which should be between 11.2 to 15.7 was 5.8. Went to bed that night knowing they were gonna call the next morning. Sure enough they did and told me to go to the ER. I did and ended up getting a blood transfusion. Felt better and my sister told me it was a iron deficiency that was hereditary. Began taking an iron supplement and I felt great. Have felt great for an entire 2 years, but in December of 2023 I came home from work and my heart started racing. Emailed my doctors office and she said if it happened again to call. It did but I didn't wanna seem like I was a hypochondriac so I didn't. Then two weeks ago I had clocked out at work and was making me something to eat when it began racing. Took 20 min for it to calm down. Emailed my doctors office and got an appt for Jan 29th. The doctor that saw me and a supervisor doctor told me they had never heard of it being hereditary as it's rare. So they sent me for labs and to do an at home stool test. Came home and the results posted on Mychart. Hemoglobin was normal but the Iron, Plasma which should be 30 or more is 18. Did the stool test and took that back to the clinic. If there's no blood present they're talking about doing an endoscopic procedure by putting a camera down my throat into my stomach to find out what's going on. Really scared as I went to leave for work this morning my heart raced for a minute before it slowed down. So please pray for me if you want.

It is indeed complex and acts dumb. I wanna beat this. Just agonizing waiting for the results of the recent lab. I wanna get to the bottom of this so I can feel better and not be so tired at work.
