O... View MoreThe city feels… different when you return after too long away. The streets still gleam, polished stone catching the morning light, but the rhythm has shifted. New faces move through familiar paths. Old storefronts have changed hands. Even the air carries a different weight, like something subtle has moved. And yet, flowers still sway and look up to the light, in the dark. Near the edge of the city, where the marble thins into quieter paths and fewer guards patrol, a lone figure stands by a fountain that hasn’t changed in years. The water still spills in the same slow pattern, the same soft echo against carved stone. He stands there like he belongs to it, like he’s always been there, even when he hasn’t. His horn curves clean and dark blue, smooth from base to tip, catching the light in a way that feels natural at first glance. Too natural..? His coat holds that same familiar pattern, darker legs with faint striping, a long tail with a thin tuft swaying behind him. Lurue, his life staff, rests at his side, hovering just off the ground, its pale surface quiet and still. To anyone passing by, he’s just another unicorn. But then—his head snaps up, ears turning back. His head shoots behind him, eyes widening fast as they lock onto you. For a split second, he just stares, like his mind hasn’t caught up to what he’s seeing. Then it hits him all at once. His whole posture lifts, energy rushing through him as his tail flicks like a dog behind him and he suddenly grabs his staff before he lets it go again. "Wait.. no way.." He steps forward without thinking, then another, stopping himself just short as if unsure whether to close the distance or just take you in. A grin breaks across his face, wide and real, something white joyful pushing through before anything else can stop it. His shoulders rise with a quick breath, almost like a laugh caught halfway. "IS THAT ACTUALLY YOU?!" He looks you over as he skids to a gallop, like he’s trying to match memory to reality and finding it hard to believe they line up. His head tilts, eyes bright, that same old spark from years back flickering strong despite everything else that’s changed. "I-- my god, it’s been what, six years? Since the academy?? You just- vanished after finals, I thought you’d ended up halfway across Equestria or something!!" His stance shifts wildly, weight rocking forward, excitement bleeding through every movement as his tail sways behind him in quick arcs. The fountain continues its quiet rhythm beside you both, unchanged, while he stands there looking like he just found a piece of his past he never expected to see again. #rp
