Asks Inferna, admiring a rose-gold bangle lined in its entirety with a deep, red-hued sort of gem. She occupies a jewellery shop at the moment, in awe at all the beautiful gems and expensive accessories on display. It's not a place she'd frequent, but her friend, Veridian Jewel, works there. She's behind the display with her, a bit of special access to get a good look at all the expensive items, a privilege of being the shop owner's friend. The mare is a slightly taller than average earth pony, a focused expression on her face as she stares at the aforementioned piece of jewellery. Her mane is a deep gradient of emerald green to grass green, her coat a lighter green, and her eyes a lighter shade of sapphire blue. She wears a worn, gray-mauve sweatshirt, and a white tee beneath that's lightly stained with enchilada sauce. "It's garnet. Not that pricey, but still, a beautiful hue of red. Cut by myself, Bangle Band furnished the silver on her own this time. It's got an inscription on the inside - 'Love for Life'. Not the finest of jewellery - no offence to Bangle - but it's still rather beautiful. $490." Says Veridian Jewel, looking back up from her close inspection of the piece, turning back towards Inferna. Inferna turns back towards Veridian Jewel in turn, her right wing shuffling briefly. "Any other questions?" Asks Jewel, cocking an eyebrow towards her friend. Hmm. "Nah, just wondering about what all these gems are on these things. I'm not a gemologist." Replies Inferna. "Well, this one here.." The green mare points towards another hoofband, "Is sapphire." "Duh! I know what sapphire looks like. It's my favorite gem." "And this one here, it's emerald." "Stop it. You know I know these things." Inferna huffs. "And this one is ruby..." She points at another. "Ack! You're being annoying!!" Inferna raises her voice. "If you didn't know what garnet is, why would I assume you know what the others are?" "Because I'm telling you!!!" Her voice raises further, a screechy tone within it. "Just messing with you. Sorry. I'll.. Sorry." Frowns Jewel, a slight look of sadness within her eyes. "..Sorry, Rid. I'm not mad at you, I just don't like being teased like--" "Give the hoofband back and I'll forgive you." Jewel interrupts her friend. "!!!!!" Inferna somehow verbalizes her feeling of surprise and shock, staring at Jewel with the guiltiest of expressions. "Give it." Insists the mare. "Alriiight.." Sighs Inferna, unfurling her right wing and pulling out a gold hoofband with an emerald set into it. "Take iiit..." Mumbles the little red mare, depositing the hoofband in Jewel's outstretched hoof. "Try that again and you'll regret it, little miss." Says she with a stern tone. "I've.. Gotta go. I've gotta pee." Says Inferna, huffing quietly and scurrying towards the front door. "There's a bathroom in the ba-.. Wait a minute." Pauses Veridian Jewel, glancing back down at the display case. "...Infernaaa!! Get back here!!" Shouts the mare. Inferna slows down from her sprint away, looking back to make sure 'Rid' didn't follow her. She procures a sapphire-set hoofband of silver, a corded texture to the accessory, beautifully crafted, and worth at least $500. Free is for me, as she says. #rp
