My advice is to learn from references; read some horror stories to get a better understanding. It also helps to use evocative language that captures the emotions and atmosphere of your Rp, just try not to burn yourself out by over doing it
You made board games? Nice. I'd do horror, if there was a dice rolling element like in Discord (the app, not the lord of chaos.) Then I could properly gauge succesful tests and such (as will as trust the other person's decisions.)
