The RP tag is mostly a tool to help other users identify your OOC posts vs deliberate open RP posts. If you're a user who mostly posts OOC topics, it may be useful to use the tag to help indicate in character RP.

In my experience, you will need to use the tag, as its one of the few ways to get an open rp started....I should know....
I generally do not join in anything that doesn't use the tag. The reason is because some people want to simply post narratively driven things about their character to expand upon rather than having rps.

Oh, that's easy. First, go to User settings, to change name, URL, and other essential settings. After that, then go to Profile settings to change that other info. Then you upload the proper profile and banner to your page. And Boom, new you and new attitude.
