Reasoning will be explained in DMs. Apple Bloom sighed, audibly. How long had the partying been going on? Days? How were they not out of mead and ale yet? She shook her head. Sweetie and Scoots had opted to leave her be. They knew how she got around this time of year. As much as they wanted to help, there just wasn't anything they could do. Bloom was currently looking through a book -- something about staff combat. Flicking the page over to the next one, she was looking.. almost longingly at some of the more complex maneuvers and techniques.... Then sme faint sound just.. barely tickled her ear.. It twitches slightly, and flicks. What was that..? Whispering..? Getting up, Bloom would leave her book behind on the bunk.. She was curious now. Following the sound, she'd stop when she could hear it better... "... So what do you propose we do? Assassination is out of the question, far removed from the table. I'm not getting the wrath of Commander Ryder on me for that!" "If not assassination then sabotage.." The second voice pauses... "The F twins. They're sympathetic to this motion. The war is profitable to them." Bloom grits her teeth... Those snakes! "Alright. And what's in it for us? You're asking us to betray Empress Daybreaker, to betray the Solar Empire." That one... Corpral Skim. "The F twins have offered... pretty solid payment. And have offered a safe way out, somewhere to go that's removed from this blasted conflict. Let them have their fun, we get a cut, and we all live happily. All we gotta do is cause trouble." "I want numbers man." "250k each month, give or take an extra 50k if sales of equipment go exceptionally well." The fuck was this shit? Bloom wondered what the hell she was hearing. She couldn't believe they were talking about treason! She hissed out a breath, barely suppressing her anger. Seems some of Scoots rubbed off on her. "I dunno man... This is... I mean.." "Look, if we're gonna do this, we're gonna have to do it now. You in or out?" There's silence for a minute. "I'm in. We shouldn't be fraternizing here with these... Fireheads. Let's cause some chaos. Maybe get things so bad Daybreaker has to give up the throne." Bloom stepped back. "I-I.. I got's ta tell.. someone about this!" Turning around, she'd immediately bump into a tower of a stallion. In a darker steel colored armor. With a yelp, Bloom has a bag shoved over her head, and she's scooped up in strong magic. ------------------------------- Daybreaker would be relaxing. It was plesant. for the most part, the entire war was on hold. It was... a refreshing break. she herself was surprised they'd not run out of provisions. In fact they had a surprising surplus, an odd cache been found hidden in the older castle. High Commissar Black Star was... Significantly more plesant than expected. At the moment, they were actually engaged in a plesant discussion about showplay, and the striking similarities their cultures actually shared, much to the shock of both. "You see, Empress Daybreaker, whilst you have a play celebrating, even recounting the story of Hearth's Warming, we in Stalliongrad have a play recounting the tale of yesterseason's holidays, namely the one you refer to as.. what was it... Nightmare Night?" Daybreaker nods. "Ah yes. I do recall hearing about a lot that was going on around that first point." "Yes, indeed. An entire civil war. Reform from an ineffective governemnt, with troublesome hereditary rule. It is our origin story, so to say." "Hm~ That sounds rather intriguing. with hopes we can end our... conflict permanently, I would be interested in seeing this play." Daybreaker was almost back to her old self again. her mane was back to its original Aurora Borealis colors, her coat was a more cool white, rather than the hot white it was before. The only thing out of place was her eyes, still that fiery orange, and slitted. Indeed if things could be smoothed out.. The war could, for the most part end. They could even work together, and destroy the swarms. ------------------------------------- It was getting late. Sweetie and Scoots had opted to return to the Barracks, having had enough of the noise and the refreshments. Socialization wasn't their strong point. That was more Apple Bloom's thing. Upon returning to the barracks however... All they would find would be Apple Bloom's small little space left a mess. "... That's.. unlike her... Where is she..?" Scoots asks aloud. She wasn't expecting an answer really.. Bloom's book was still out, resting square in the middle of her bunk, papers and writing utensils scattered across the bed... Sighing, Scoots would shake her head. "Probably in the Latrine. Let's get some rest." She says, climbing up to her bunk up above Bloom's. Sweetine, unlike Scoots... was pretty concerned. Bloom wouldn't just up and leave. Even just to use the latrine. She'd at least straighten things out a bit... But, Scoots was likely right. Whatever. Try and get some sleep she figured. She really hoped Bloom would be back before long... Else they may be faced with a difficult question at role call. ---------------------------------------- (Commander Wyatt Ryder Hymn)

Wyatt smiled at her. "I'll be there for you, my love." He promised Daybreaker. One of his hands ran through her wings then as he kissed her neck up to her muzzle so he could properly kiss her again, this time lighter and more lovingly.
