Also, this is long. Like REALLY long, so I hope you can spare ten minutes. ) While on a trip in Vanhoover, you spotted Silent buying some white and black paint at a local hardware store. As he was taking his leave, you didn't head to his usual area, being his home, he proceeded toward the shoreline of the nearby sea. Curiosity overtook you, and you chose to follow, making sure to keep relatively out of sight. When Silent got to the shore, there was a decent-sized wooden cabin there, looking as though it had just been built. In the front, there was a luxurious porch with a mini-bar, eight beach chairs, and a hot tub big enough for two. You couldn't see the back or most of the interior, but you could make out a living room through one of the windows. From what you could see, it had a fireplace and a cool-gray couch. Just by the shore, there was a small fire where two other figures stood, enjoying what looked to be some freshly made tea and a few s'mores. By the sound of their voice, it sounded like Rainbow Dash and Princess Twilight Sparkle. Silent put the paint near the front steps, and went over to the pair. Finding your way under the porch, you could hear their conversation without having the risk of being seen. Rainbow Dash: " Ah, just like old times. Good to have a part of the gang back together again, right? " Silent Dusk: " I agree with you there, RD. But let's hope things don't turn out like last time. " He took a cup of tea, and hovered it to his lips as he spoke. RD: " There he goes. What'd I tell you, Twilight? Boy, can be more sour than week old milk! No wonder your family left you. Not a single family out there would want to stay near you with that attitude. " Silent just kept sipping his tea, so did Twilight, apparently this was a common thing to happen. " Now, you are good company most of the time, but other times you're worse than a cragodile with a toothache. " SD: " I beg your pardon? " RD: " Oh, don't get angry, it ain't gonna change nothing. You're hopeless. And I mean that literally, you barely have any hope left in you. I mean, look at you. Look at this place! Your ' dream home '. I've had better nightmares than this dream. " She then went on to impersonate Silent. " Oh, Rarity. I'm sorry! Allow me to treat you to an over-glorified outhouse I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to take a shit in. " Silent and Twilight were pretty calm until they heard Rainbow say a curse word. Silent choked on his tea, and Twilight's mouth dropped to the ground. Rainbow wasn't one to use harsh language; it was jarring hearing it come from her. After Silent regained his calmness, he spoke. " What're you tryin' to say, Dash? " RD: " It's awful! It's a dump! The house has gotta be changed. Just get yourself some self-respect, you sack of shit! Build a house that a mare can at least enjoy! " SD: " Knowing our fashionista, she'll find it lovely. " RD: " She'll find that it needs leveling. No mare in their right mind would do so much as touch this place. " Rainbow flew off, leaving Silent and Twilight alone. For Silent, the novelty had worn off, but Twilight was only just getting over it. SD: " Did she wake up on the wrong side of the bed or somethin'? I mean, Dash can be sassy, but that was way more aggressive than normal. " Twilight Sparkle: " No, she's just having a bad day. And I mean really bad. Cloudsdale lost the hosting of the Equestria games again, and she was really looking forward to doing a show there with the other Wonder Bolts. Either way, I'd better talk to her. Be back in a bit. " Twilight did her teleportation trick, and Silent was left alone. He sighed, looked toward the shore, and suddenly spoke. " You know you aren't that sneaky, right? You can come out; it must be cramped under there anyway. "
