Name: Velvet Sweets Appearance: Velvet Sweets is a rare breed of Pink Bat Pony. She has a lengthy Velvet colored mane that is described as lush and breathtaking. Her leather wings are Velvet colored as well. She has red eyes with Heart Shaped pupils that seem to catch the most attention. She also has one fang that acts as an overbite.  Personality: Velvet is an easy going individual. She isn't quick to anger and is normally the type to make light of even the most serious of situations. On top of this, Velvet has a large desire to flirt and be romantic with anybody she finds fascinating or interesting. Be it male or female or any. She is described to be very sultry in her words and appearance, however these actions are merely a mask as she suffered from past trauma in regards to her appearance. Deep Down, she is self-conscience of how other view her and seeks to be seen as a living being with feelings and emotions. She puts on a show of flirtations and compliments in order to have others see her as one that can be bold and confident.  Occupation: Lunar Rank: 2nd in Command/ 2nd Personal of King Artemis and Queen Lesa Abilities: Velvet is a skilled fighter despite her beautiful looks. She is known to be vicious and personal when engaging a battle. She has a mastery of dagger use, being able to hold and swing a dagger with ease in her mouth.  She is also very cunning as she looks to play dirty to gain any advantage in a fight. Outside of combat, Velvet is a expert in persuasion and negotiation. She uses her looks and honey words to manipulate conversation. It is rumored she has scent that comes off her body that makes others more accepting to her words, but that's all rumor. She is also a expert in Stealth, moving unseen despite her bright appearance. And as of recently, she had gained the ability to wild and use Arcane magic. Likes: Males, Females, Dancing, Flowers, Fashion. Dislikes: Crime Lords, Bullies, Possessive Relationships. Romantic Interests: Currently Single. Is known to be an active lover. Has a large love and desire to be with the King, but has accepted that it'll never be a possibility. Family: Unknown Fears and Phobias: Claustrophobic, Arachnophobia  Backstory: Velvet was a thieving orphan in the grand city of Las Pegasus. Due to an unknown accident, she had lost her memories of any life she had before she was nine. No memory of parents or siblings. She has only known the streets of Las Pegasus. She would use her youth to her advantage, begging for money and offering to do some jobs for more crooked individuals. She would break into homes, hotels, and casinos. Using her natural stealth capabilities, Velvet would pickpocket others or simply steal desired items for others that hired her services under the noses of authority.  Velvet's orphaned life would take a drastic turn around the time she was eleven. During a break in at one of the most popular Casino's in the City of Las Pegasus, Velvet was caught by the owner, the Infamous Crime Lord, Ignacio Markos. Ignacio would admire the youth's expert skills and talents. Giving her little choice, he took her in as one of his servants for the Markos Crime Family. Velvet would spend most of her remaining childhood working for the Markos Family owned Casinos, mainly working the bar as the one that stocked the shelves. She remained to herself, quiet, and silent. Due to her appearance, she was seen as a spectacle to most casino patrons, actively visiting every Casino she worked at just to glimpse the Pink Bat.  As she got older working for the Markos Family, she would be positioned in the field of Loan Sharking. Using her innocent beauty and honey words, Velvet was taught to convince those that needed money to take a loan from the Markos Family. If loans weren't paid back in the span of time requests, Velvet would be forced to confront the issue. She would watch with heavy guilt  ponies were beat and punished for failing to pay back debts she manipulated them to take. Despite this, she continued her role of manipulation and negotiation as she saw it as her job to do, as it was only right to do so for the Markos Family who took her in. At the age of eighteen, Velvet would suffer the largest betrayal of her life. Crime Lord Ignacio Markos would gift his only son, Stryker Markos, Velvet herself. Stryker was a stallion that only cared about acquiring the most rare items to exist. However his definition of the word 'item' even expanded to living things. Due to Velvet being a Pink Bat Pony, which was rare in itself? Added to that her peculiar heart shaped eyes? Velvet was the ultimate gift for Stryker to have. It was a full year and a half of a loveless relationship. Velvet was never seen as a living being the moment she belonged to Stryker. Once she was gifted to him, she was merely a Trophy for him to show off. Velvet suffered heavy mental trauma during her time at Stryker's side. She would be referred to as Precious Trophy. She was observed by many with amused and mocking eyes. She could never speak her mind or form an opinion, due to Stryker finding that Trophy should never have thoughts. If she spoke out of turn or spoke at all without so much as a request, she would be punished by being locked in a large glass case in Stryker's office for a whole day. She was used lovelessly both in her abilities and even in romance. A mental view would soon bury itself deep in her mind. The view that no matter where she is or what she does? She'll always be just a Trophy.  Grace would finally shine upon Velvet after half a year in Stryker's presence. The mistakes of Stryker's Father, Ignacio Markos, attempting to smuggle illegal potions into Canterlot would draw the attention of the Princes. A Lunar raid on the Casinos and Warehoused of the Markos Crime Family was put into place. It was there Velvet had met her savior. An Alicorn Prince with a mane as lovely as the night sky. Artemis took to arresting Stryker and his goons due to affiliation with Ignacio Markos. Artemis would notice Velvet, who was locked in a glass case for punishment at the time. After setting her free, for the first time in her life, Velvet would sob and cry at the Prince's hooves, thanking endlessly for his interference. Telling her story and her circumstances of being involved with the Markos Family, Artemis chose to show a merciful side.   Velvet was soon recruited to the Lunar Division. Through the years onward, she would learn a new life of discipline and purpose under the Command of Artemis. Through the Lunar's, she'd meet Kirra, the Adopted Daughter of Artemis. Kirra would put Velvet under her care, vowing to change her into a mare she deserves to be. And since they've been as close as Sisters almost. Velvet now leads of life desiring joy and acceptance in order to escape her past. She is deeply grateful to Artemis, willing to do anything ordered of her if asked by him. Even if it meant her death. She'd prove her worth, earning the title Second Personal.  However, the past trauma can never be so easily erased. For as much as Velvet may try to move on? One lingering view still sticks in her mind. Even amongst her Lunar sisters. Amongst the Rulers? She can never be anything but a Trophy.
