Professor Layton was sitting at his desk, sipping a cup of tea while quietly reading the newspaper.
"I see the weather is going to be nice...," he said to himself as he put the newspaper down on the table.
Unfortunately, before going for a walk, he had to finish examining the figure that had arrived this morning. No one knew where it came from, as it didn't seem to be from any known culture, so they decided to have Layton take a look at it, due to his reputation for solving even the greatest of mysteries.
"This statue has been a mystery. Not even the best archaeologists have been able to decipher where it came from," he said.
The statue depicted what looked like a unicorn with a huge mane, a tiara and a sun mark on its back.
"Equestria... What will it mean?"
Upon closer inspection, he noticed a slight glow on the unicorn's horn. It appeared to be of a different material than the rest.
"It looks like there's... a paper inside."
Layton takes out the paper carefully, and begins to look at it closely, reading its contents.
"It talks about a certain Princess Celestia.... Could it be some kind of legend?"
Before he can say more, a glow emanates from the whole figure. Layton notices how he can't move.
"What... What is happening?" he thinks, as he tries to remain calm.
After these thoughts, the professor loses consciousness.
Once recovered, Layton opens his eyes and discovers that he is in the middle of some kind of field.
"This is strange, how did I end up here?"
Looking carefully at the landscape, one thing is very clear: I was no longer in London.
Now all I could do was move forward in search of answers as to where I was.
