Cosmo, The Infinite Child (Abuse, Death)

Cosmo would be lying on his white bed, holding a stuffed dog. A blonde doggie that he would cry into... Cosmo had his face buried into its stomach. Cosmo was a frail boy with tears flowing down his face. He had no irises, just wide pupils clashing amongst a pale white canvas. The pupils bled into the white of his eyes, causing a strange burning sun look. It would swirl and expand before returning to normal. It causes extreme discomfort, which causes him to cry. He has short, thing legs and pale white fur. Stubble on his head and no tail hair, it was clear what happened. A paw would gently come down and touched him, Cosmo jumped before his wide eyes would touch upon Oddeus. Cosmo blushed, his tears would subside at this new found knowledge.   Oddeus smiled and said, "I'm sorry, Cosmo. I wish I could stop them... I can't believe they chopped your beautiful mane. What a cruel punishment." Odd would reach in and gently pull Cosmo close to him. He put his cheek on his head and said, "Don't worry, though... You're big brother is here. You can lean on me." Oddeus would whisper as he stared to tear up.  Cosmo would start to tear up again and would nestle up to Oddeus. What... Warmth. No matter the suffering. No matter the hurt, the pain... When he was with Odd and Norman, he felt at ease. He felt included.  Cosmo was being experimented with the Infinitorium Mutation. Immortality. At the cost of your life, he cannot carry heavy objects or run real fast. He isn't a genius. He isn't athletic or can balance really well. He even needs to ask Odd to help him bathe and use the restroom. Norman was like the protector from other classmates. He was inspiring. He was strong but Odd... Odd was the single most important thing in the world to him. Without Odd, he would be lost...  That... That would never happen, please... Cosmo would plant his small hooves into Odd even more, holding tightly as if his life would fly away before his eyes. Odd didn't have a mutation. He was just... Here... Experiencing pain and suffering. All because he grew up too fast.  He suffering too! Cosmo would pull himself him to Odd's level and hung off his neck. Cosmo whisperer, "Thank you. I love you, big brother. For everything you do... For including me... For being my strength. My knight..." Cosmo squeezed as hard as he could.  Oddeus would tear up and started to cry, he couldn't help himself. He was tired... Exhausted. Odd took the brunt of a lot of abuse, despite not having powers at all. It's because of him... Reid... He revels in this boys agony. Even when he comes back with broken legs or arms, bruises and  cuts. He still... He still finds it to help me, the best he could.  One day, this abuse... This abuse will go too far.  It was about to come... Sooner than later.   Oddeus would wipe his tears and picked up Cosmo to set him in his wheelchair. Cosmo wasn't able to walk on his own, despite physical therapy attempts. This was the price of immortality: Living. Oddeus would go around behind Cosmo and wheeled him out.  "Hey, Normy." Oddeus would wave to Norman, "Wanna meet up with the others with me and Cosmo?"  Norman would be in his own world, waiting for the next experiment on him. Another transplant. Replacement. Discard. He would look over at the two and said, "Odd... Hey, Cosmo, looking good buddy." He would pat Cosmo's head.  Norman was a lot older than both of them, he's almost... An adult! Whoa... Cosmo was only 8 years of age. Oddeus was 11. Norman was in his late teens, but he forgot the specifics to be honest. Either way, he would blush waves to Norman.  Norman reach down and Cosmo hugged his head, "Norman, I love you, Big brother. " He whispered. "Me and Oddy, we made something for you. It's in my room." Cosmo let go and looked up at Norman. Norm would smile and laughed, "Okay, sure." Norm quickly went into the room and came back. He would come back and held a hat. It was a wide brimmed hat that acted like a sun hat. Norman would come back to show it off, "You guys made this for me? Wow. I love it." Norman would slide it on his head, his long ears poked through the holes on the top.  It made him look so mysterious... Norman would laugh and say, "What do you guys think."  Odd would clap and say, "You look like a B tier super hero!" Odd chuckled.  Cosmo waved at Norman and Norm would bend down to listen again, "You look really cool. You could be... The Hollow Body! The detective doctor! How... Cool would that be?" He would blush and chuckle.  Norman would grin and chuckle himself, "You're right. You remembered that I wanted to be a detective. That's awesome, Cosmo."  Cosmo would give a big smile toward Norman.  Oddeus would say, "Alright you guys. Let's meet up with the others. We are gonna run late!" He would chuckle softly.  Norman and Cosmo would nod before they would move forward.  Something felt off today. The like air was going to crush him or stab at him. He was weirdly afraid. Odd would notice this, "It's okay, pal.  Me and Normy's got your back." Oddeus kept pushing as they would get together with 50 or 60 some children. All with various mutators that gave them visual quirks. Some have multiple limbs or flight.  Norman would be called as he waved at the two, "Thanks for the gift, Cosmo and Oddy. You guys are the only family I need." Norm would wave and run off to talk with some older fellas.  Oddeus and Cosmo waved. It was getting really scary now. There was something about Odd's confident stride but he could tell... Odd was expecting something.  They would walk amongst the crowd as they would bump into... Him... Thomas Reid.  Thomas was a tall man with judgemental silver eyes and golden mane. He had scars all over his body and he casted a devious shadow. He was scary. Evil incarnate.  Please no...  "Oddeus. We need to have a talk, young man." Reid would grab Odd's arm. Oddeus didn't fight back and yet he was still being violently pulled away.  Cosmo would start to tear up... Please, no... Cosmo looked over to see another pony that would take Odd's place. The new guy would stare daggers at Cosmo as he wheeled him away from the other kids.  "You're a useless sack of shit. Do you even know how much keeping your ass alive is pulling from my paycheck! I hope that this will make them realize what happens when they take my checks away. When they think YOU!!! YOU!!! Are the reason that we can't afford anything! You can't hardly eat let alone walk! Well, we can change that." Cosmo's heart sank as he was being pulled away from all the kids. No... No, no, no...!  He had to do something... Help me, Oddeus... Norman....?!? Help... He would muster gasps of desperation as he would fall out of his chair on purpose. Cosmo weakly crawled as he was quickly picked up by the weak fat of his neck, he couldn't move at all... The man had brought him to the morgue. A sealed off room that required several I.D's to enter. The man would approach a hole, blood would encase the edges of this square hole. It looked like it plunged straight into pure darkness but the smell... It was godless. Horrific. What the hell...?!?  "Nor...man! Oddeus! P...please!" The boy pleaded as the man would drop him in front of the hole to kick him down it.  The only thing he could see what the mans cruel eyes and the light fading as he fell down this giant pit. It was the same pit that traumatized Oddeus and nearly killed Norman. It was bigger now. Many, many were down there... No one was alive. Quiet... Not even the buzzing flies.  Cosmo would expell the air from his lungs as he landed. He could barely breathe... It was hot and it was so... Sickeningly sweet... Like leather.  Cosmo was having a panic attack. His could feel his heart pound out of his chest as he could feel it. Faces... Hooves and paws... Bones...  Cosmo couldn't tell how long it's been, he could feel his stomach twisting a curling. He... He was hungry... He ate. Ate and ate. Ate and ate. Ate and ate. Ate and bite. Rip and gouge.  Cosmo would stare up after what felt like days since he's been there. The top opened up, Cosmo shielded his eyes as a body was tossed down.  The body of a small diamond... It couldn't be...  The body violently hit the bottom of this disturbed pit. Cosmo would shuffle to see this body, he would shake violently, tears rolling down... He wasn't sobbing but rather horrified. Cosmo would push with all of his weakness to roll the body over.  Cosmo would scream... He couldn't... Instead, he was stun locked. Oddeus... They... Hurt Oddeus... Please... Wake up. Odd's head was torn in half, his brain was mush from the damage.  Cosmo would climb on top of him and cried over his body. Why? Why must they be so cruel? Oddeus... Please... Let it be a nightmare! Let it be fiction! Let be him seeing things. Feeling things...  Cosmo felt his chest getting heavy as he would crawl closer to Odd's damaged ears. He whispered, "Don't worry. I love you, B-Big brother. You've done so much... So, allow me... Allow me to help you." Cosmo would hold his frail arms into the sky.  "If there is a sign... If there is any hope! Any love at all. Heal my brother! I will give my life, my aspirations, my existence... Please! Brother and sisters, please... Heal him." He would keep going as bodies would start to rise. They would start to come together and melt to create a ball of fleshy goo. The goo-like substance would get bigger and bigger into a giant orb. The orb absorbed every body and it even absorbed Cosmo slowly since he was living.  Cosmo looked down at Oddeus one more time before saying, "Thank you. This is the least I can do. I'll fight back with everything I have!" Cosmo would yell out with everything he could muster as he would fully absorbed. The flesh ball would have eaten everything but Odd, this ball would shoot down in streams, healing the damage on Odd. It would reform his brain the best it could and would put his head back together, sealing his skull back into place.  -- Today's time Oddeus would be doing his normal routine, drinking a cup of coffee.  Brother Oddeus. Yes Cosmo?  ... Come on, man. Quit leaving me hangin'! I just wanted to remind you that I love you. You're the world to me. Always.  Oddeus would stop what he was doing to him, "What's up bud, you okay? " Odd touched his scar.  I was just thinking... I was thinking about when we were kids. It was scary then, no?  "Yeah. It was. You saved my life and gave up your own. I didn't even know you were that strong!" Odd would wipe away tears that were already forming. "My Cosmo... Thank you. We'll never be apart again. You, me, and Norman. We can finally be a family again."  Cosmo didn't respond. "Cosmo? You okay bud." This is all I ever dreamed of. I love you. "I love you too, Cosmo."
