CA's 5th Anniversary Event Submission Thread

Hi, everypony! Misty Nights here, Can you believe that it's that time of the year again? Another time in which we celebrate this place's anniversary! Not only is that a major milestone in our history, but it is just amazing how we've been a part of your lives for this long if you have been with us from the start. For those of you who are new, we are so happy that you are here to be a part of this momentous occasion. This year we want to celebrate it by doing a bit of a fun activity. It's something that we have done before, but my sister, Sunshine Serenade, and I know that you guys love it for its simplicity. We want to encourage our users to share with us either , , or By participating in this event, you will be able to get our 5th-anniversary badge, which was commissioned by the lovely and wonderful, Comp, and made by the ever wonderful, Snow Storm. In five years (more like two actually) I should finally finish my studies and stop being constantly tired. As for Aset, well, she guards her pyramid, she will be doing that in five years too, and for many more years to come. EDIT: To add to that, seeing that I'm still here after those five years, I will likely be here after five more years too. So thank you to everyone keeping this place alive. I am not very active on the public wall but I have made a few friends here and enjoy my time here.

Heh, alright. In 5 years, my guy will still be kicking butt, having all the great adventures he has had now and forever more. He's so glad to be having adventures with his friends and sister... and even friends from other timelines! He wouldn't have it any other way.

In 5 years my dracony likely wouldn't have changed much. Either he'd still be doing his mass artifact recovery job or he'd focus more on scientific endeavors. Sky would have the lifespan of a dragon so he'd still be in his prime for a while, and still quite dedicated to his work.

And also, in 5 years, ill still be here, doing... whatever I'm doing at that point in Fate's Judgement, trying not to accused Artemis of being evil in The Castle, and of course, continuing to produce wonderful stories for u all.

Dragonfly would be in the same place in five years, still delivering packages across the galaxy and trying to make friends to learn all the different cultures that exist throughout the galaxy, dedicating his existence to spite the Rassulian Empire. Maybe he'll have some bigger goals in mind between now and then, but for now its all the same.

Wait wut? five already? GAWD DAAAMN. I'm not as active as I used to be around here, now after branching into several other communities my time has been sliced down dramatically, yet I still check here on time to time regardless of the hostility we may feel towards a good portion of the userbase. I tend to look back at that and figure out I was upset about some horse-pastel RP stuff, never going into fruition nor that it would really matter at all, perhaps something upsetting words about opinions or an overall thing today making no sense to be mad about. If people sees this, let me tell you that I don't "hate" or "find hostility" towards anyone, it doesn't matter really it never does, I don't know you nor you know me and our lives will continue to go forward despite some silly magical horse drama or person-wise from total strangers, you're in your right to be mad but on my end I don't, at the end of the day as I said I find the things that make us grow apart were... eh, rather unnecessary to me at least, it's not like we threatened to nuke each other IRL. Hell I was mad about someone for pizza on a stove I think, lol. So hopefully everyone have a fantastic holidays regardless, I removed the blocks on people, it was seriously stupid on my behalf to be mad about... things? i barely remember, sorry about that! keep living your life and do wonderful things. May this site continue to have more years to come and new younger generations find the pastel pony world entertaining, just how it did many of us and where we come from. I wouldn't had a fantastic community, friends and better English (Still needs work, imagine how awful it was when I started) nor pursue art if it wasn't for tiny talking horses, feels like yesterday when a total strange in a dark alicorn OC messaged me out of the blue in my personal IRL facebook if I wanted to join and I said "... yeh?" Good times! keep them coming, in five more years? hopefully still drawing, still RPing, still surviving and around. Probably I'll see CanterlotAvenue 2.0 be born by that time, probably the pastel horse stuff may fade away, everyone is focused in their lives so there's less time to sink into this as it should. To think the people who I first used to Rp with now are proud parents! time surely flies. Make your life how you wanna make it, don't let anyone else tell you how or otherwise.

In five years, ay? Well none of my characters will change much in five years. Icy will still be isolated in the forest, inventing and trying her hardest not to remember. Lights will still be on the side of chaos and disorder in the world, taking whatever contracts he can that'll destabilize whatever organizations he can. Purple will still be trying to bring about the end of normalcy in Equestria by bringing the rest of her race out of their home dimension. Well, not intentionally trying to destroy normalcy, but that'd be a side effect. Dragonfly might actually change in that time, five more years of ponies trying to steal the gem he has by it's parasitic control over others. He might end up in a cave off the map on his own, trying to keep the evil on his foreleg away from ponykind. And Verdant will probably just kind of be gone, back to where he came from. Meanwhile, I will be in five years working at some small job hopefully. Maybe even sooner! But I need to get over my crippling social issues first.

(Sneak Peak Of My Fifth Book) It was a cold place. Not in the sense that it was freezing, but there was an eerie feeling about the island. Darkness was everywhere and Svarlet started to feel dreary. She kept walking despite her hooves feeling heavy as they became covered in the sticky mush. Spoof stayed close and Svarlet could tell he was nervous. The sound of a twig breaking somewhere to the right had broken the silence. The noise had echoed through the air as Svarlet spun around frantically looking for the source of the noise. She heard soft voices all around them. " Hah." Svarlet chuckled aloud. "Good to see the Whispering Island living up to its name." She was just trying to lighten the mood but as she spoke, she noticed Spoof floating away in a flash. He stopped behind a tree and peeked out, looking at her and shivering. Svarlet, scared to turn around felt a breeze from behind. Suddenly, from behind her, there was a huge glow that overwhelmed Spoof's own and lit up everything in front Svarlet. I have made plans that will help me to save enough money. Enough to be able to buy a property and start building my own home. These plans also took into account taxes, hook-ups, bills, and most importantly resources. It has not taken into account any unforeseeable work circumstances such as layoffs, firings, pay/hour cuts, replacements, or transfers. I will be working on those later but for now I hope to have a property bought, built, and livable in around 5+ years! Because who wants to live with family for the rest of their lives? Hahah. (I See "Plans" Being Separate From "Goals". I Have A Lot Of Unrealistic Goals. I Am Slowly Going To Make Them Realistic.) I have been streaming a lot. I got affiliate in a month and then I lost my laptop to water damage and had not good internet once I got a new laptop. I am hoping I can find some and get my streaming back to normal. It may take about a year though because I still struggle with money, and everything is so expensive now. I have paid someone, and they are helping me to build my own website. I am hoping it will be done fully and PUBLIC in about 2 years. There is no way it will be public before that as I have too much work to do on it first, after the base code is done. My art has gotten a lot better and although I feel like I have enough confidence to animate, I am still not ready. I feel like I will ruin it. So, I would like to learn to animate. I am hoping to learn the basics in about 3 years. I am a slow learner. One thing I hope to learn sooner than later is coding. I can't seem to retain anything educational so it may be harder and slower to do. Hopefully I can get the basics down in 4 years. I am going to need it. I am slowly continuing to write my books and even though I am NOWHERE near done, I hope to finish them (all 30+) in the span of 5 years!

Five years later... "So, six years ago I was dealing with old magic and things went south in that one timeline and a lot of versions of me exist which is weird. There are a few that ventured this far into equine space due to the chaos that magic has from years of two princesses controlling the sun and moon. Sivanro was on Equestria working in the cabin while Sheep was in space collecting mineral samples of different rocks. "Now, I just know there more to it than thinking about how a spell works. "Let see if I can levitate a table..." the table didn't move due to magic being weird for him to use. "... Okay back to the white board again" he sighs as he crosses out that spell from the board.
