TWAS THE MONTH OF CHRISTMAS (Poem was made for my Toyhou.se, but enjoy.) ---------------------------------------- 'Twas the month of Christmas, when all thro' Toyhou.se, Many creatures for sale, even a mouse; The adopts were priced by their owners with care, In hopes that some customers soon would be there; The artists were comfy all warm and well fed, While visions of characters danc'd in their head, The others and I, on our drawing app, Scrambling our brains for a long sleepless gap- When out on the internet others had Twitter, Toyhou.se's artists thought all others were bitter. Away to DeviantArt many flew in a flash, Posting commissions, and using their Sta.sh. Adopts had themes like 'reindeer' and 'snow', Other content creators kept up with the flow; What, other creative people make appear, Like a holiday calendar as seen here, With a little color, and bit of their shtick, Others can create a little thing called 'fan fic'. More sparkles and colors come all the same, As artists think, and search, and make-up a name: "Sammy! No. Trisha! No. Not Hailey nor Karen, "Not Shelby, not Hannah! Even Evangeline is barren; "Genevieve's too long to shout down a hall. "Now Clementine will blow away them all!" As creators create until their hands cry, They meet with an obstacle, when their minds die; So it's up to Toyhou.se creators and crew, To fill up the feed - and fill every queue: And don't forget one thing, the payment proof Don't want to scare off my poor little Spoof. As I draw in my bed, and try out a background, My kittens are stirring begin to surround: They have warm and soft fur, from ears to foot, And their noses were frozen or cold simply put; Before I can think they all three attack, Then they try to look cute and meow then smack: I wonder - how others would do! how they parry, Or do they not have pets, a thought that is scary; I almost forgot the writers like the one who wrote, "And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;" Then there are musicians with songs that tell us to breathe, And have wakey green hair or can sing an E6 key.
