Throughout Spring, a special day known as Arbor Day can take place around the world. For many, it takes place during the months of April and May where groups of people set out to plant trees, educate about trees and tend to existing ones.
Trees are an integral part of our ecosystem and frankly survival. We rely on them for so much, yet it’s important we do not forget or take them for granted. So, during the month of April, we’ll be hosting a small event that is in the spirit of interacting with trees and nature.
To participate:
- Take a photograph of your hands planting a tree or seedling
- Draw a picture of a character in nature with trees, planting a tree or as a tree
- Write a short story or poem about trees
Post it to the Green-Hoof Group Page or upload with the tag #GreenHoofMonth.
Participants will receive a special badge upon completed review.
