New Coltenheim

Fortune Smiled on the 3rd prince for his life was not as abrupt as his fathers he was born during Coltenheim's golden age where the rule of Zane Nighthooves was long and fruitful. Such as the renegotiation of the norths Autonomy and managed to make the city and its lands into sovereign territory that still answered to Celestia and Luna and the restoration of the north and the integration of dragons and griffins into the fold. Prince Solaris 3rd to the throne not only had caring parents like his father did but grew up making friends and received the proper education and even a mare he fell in love with named Cherry Blossom to be his princess. However as always with this line peace does not last Solaris and his father Prince Nighthooves were invited to the royal wedding of shining armor and Princess Cadence no pony expected chrysalis nor the changeling invasion of Canterlot. And after the chaos of the changelings attacking the city when the dust settled Solaris found his father dead yet the wedding resumed like nothing happened and no time to mourn the dead. Two days after the wedding Solaris still enraged demanded compensation for his father's death and permission to pursue chrysalis and her hive with the support of Celestia and Luna's forces. However, Celestia refused both the compensation and the authority to go to war even more furious he returned to Coltenheim and announced that northern Equestria would become completely independent and that the north would go to war against chrysalis and her hive. Vengence consumed the new prince as the nation of northern Equestria and Coltenheim went to war against chrysalis and her changeling hive. Knowing that her region nullifies magic the new tech he had was used in the war effort such as metal airships that dropped mortars, soldiers with advanced armor and weapons dragons breathing fire, and griffons casting lightning. The Changeling Wars is what it was soon to be called which lasted for 5 years until Celestia intervened and that it was his own beloved cherry blossom who sent for her. Knowing this Solaris now overtaken by rage waged war on Celestia and the rest of her kingdom only to be driven back north and Solaris encased in stone for eternity. as for his former princess she gave birth to a little colt around the time the crystal empire became the new power in the north just south of yakyakistan.

The second Coltenheim prince Zane Nighthooves son of the first prince Coltenheim was born sometime before discord rose to power the years of his youth were enjoyable spending time with his parents and them raising him as best as they could. Especially prince Coltenheim himself teaching his son the responsibility and weight of being a good leader and the consequences of those actions. Coltenheim didn't want his son to worry about his unsteady relationship with Celestia and Luna after the first northern war years ago deep down he desired to have his lands free and independent and the longer they weren't the more the citizens resented him but fate, however, was not without irony. Nighthooves was only 10 when discord finally arrived in the north and the city of Coltenheim his parents managed to get their son out before witnessing discord murder his parents and then he ran tears in his eyes as he fled south. After traveling long distances without sleep or meal he fainted in the desert then later only to be awoken by the smell of campfire food and as his vision cleared he saw buffalo around him one of which was the one who tended to Nighthooves. His name was chief Thunderhoof of appaloosa with nowhere to go he took the young one into his tribe and raised him and taught him many things such a cooking fighting and survival despite being an alicorn and making things easier for himself he chose to refrain from using his wings or magic as a crutch only when truly needed. The years passed and when Nighthooves grew to be a stallion he left for the town of appaloosa to work and play music at the local tavern and live there for a few years. Around the time twilight made her journey to ponyville and the return of nightmare moon was nigh an assassin was sent to kill Nighthooves only to be saved by the bouncer in the nick of time. And a letter was on the assassin's pouch describing that the assassin came from his birth home in the north and how the region and the city devolved into a winter wasteland where the lawless go to thrive dragons, griffins and ponies were in a free for all. And that the current occupant of the city of Coltenheim was the one who hired the assassin after much thought Nighthooves decided it was time to reclaim his home and kingdom now that discord was imprisoned. He arrived back in the land of his origins but much worse than he thought but he managed to make his way to the city and take down the one in charge and after more years of hard work he brought Coltenheim City and the lands around it to prosperity and fathered a son the 3rd in the Coltenheim line Solaris.

After princess platinum, commander hurricane, and chancelor pudding lead there subjects out of the frozen north there were some who stayed behind that clinged to hope that the windigos would disapear but it took longer then they thought crops died and ponies died left and right meanwhile a alicorn warrior with a blond mane and tail and coat returned from gathering food in the wilderness and he was the exact height as any normal pony his name was Ragvar coltenheim while the ponies of the village was in grief and worry Ragvar kept his sprits up knowing no matter what happens he would be ready for anything but he also know the escalating tensions with the other pony races he was respected by each one he visted some homes and asked why they hate each other but to no avail they did not have a clear answer seeing as how they found out the windigos were causing this blight sometimes he would visit the place the 3 pony tribe leaders would meet and where they lived before they left to what is now known as equestria he always ponders as to why the tribe leaders would fight against each other instead of putting the saftey of there subjects first before them selves as weeks turned into months and months into years the tenstions have reached the pinnacle point as unicorons burned down houses of earth ponies to establish them selves as the new rulers the pegasai would create lighting storm clouds to disrupt summoning circles made by the unicorns while earth ponies would eather become assassins theivs or just rebels fighting there own kind soon Ragvar had enough he soon got stoped them from destroying each other and reminded them what happend before the hate and how they used to be close and they can still be again but more stronger and self relient soon everypony knew what was best for there lands and who to lead them was coltenheim himself who became the first prince of the north soon the windigos vansihed and even though it was still snowing the snow fall was light a peaceful like like stars falling from the heavens soon the ponies of coltenheim rebuild there lands and turned there village into a city and created a keep for the prince called coltenheim keep and for a time it was perfect and everypony was happy then several years later prince coltenheim caught wind of celestias conquest of equestria he did not want his people to be ruled by someone down south nor do they and soon there was only one option to fight for freedom thus the first northern war began the solar empire marched into the north as northern pony warriors and celestias ponies fought as the snow became coverd and coated in blood the war lasted for months when celestia won she made a treaty stating that northern equestria would serve as a border patrol for her lands against outside threats this was a problem for prince coltenheim because he wanted to intergrate dragons and gryphons into the north but sadly to no avail soon he married a fine mare and gave birth to his first heir Zane Nighthooves.
