It had been months since the stallion had confined himself to the castle's basement and deactivated himself. Since that day, nothing had moved, everything frozen as it was as Leon had decided that his time had come, that he was no longer of any use to anybody, that he had completed his task and was being called from the other side. A thick layer of dust had accumulated on everything present in the workshop, the once immaculate space he had resided in falling into such a state of dust and musk would have been hard for any resident to have seen, had he not barred the door shut with a stack of tungsten rods that had been left over from the city's shield generator that Artemis had tasked him with building years ago. He hadn't told anyone he was going to deactivate, he didn't even alert Artemis, it seemed like after all of his fighting, he had finally decided that he wanted nothing more than peace, to see what, if anything, awaited him on the other side of the door he'd been denied so, so many years ago. At least, that was the plan. A soft whirring sound began to emanate from the silent Shire's body, a message on the terminal plugged into the large computer that was plugged into the port on the back of the stallion's neck reading 'DANGER, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECTED, SEQUENCE INITIALIZE: CODE BLUE'. The green letters danced across the old screen, bathing the until this point totally dark room in a faint green haze as the whirring got louder, visible dust particles being kicked up from the spinning fan of the computer and casting an eerie, faint glow upon the workshop. The whirring got louder, and louder, until finally, it happened. With a loud gasp, the stallion was snapped back into activation, choking on the dust he inevitably inhaled and spluttering as he went from sitting against the wall to falling onto his side, the pink eye he was so known for casting a glow against the cold floor he was sat on. Mercifully during his time spent deactivated, nothing had rotted away, the neon in his artificial veins helping to preserve what little organic material he still had left behind all of his cybernetics. Leon choked on more of the dust, trying his best to get his bearings as a system reboot message presented itself in his right eye, the stallion staring blankly at it as he slowly pulled himself up onto his metal arms, not having a clue what had happened to trigger an automatic reboot. Then reality set in. Someone, somewhere had found him, had tapped into his systems and awakened him. All he had wanted was a peaceful end, an end that he felt like he had simultaneously earned and didn't deserve, and he wasn't even allowed that. Leon reached back to the port on his neck, feeling that it was still connected, tears forming in his one good eye as he slammed his fist on the concrete below him, leaving a small crater where it had impacted. "Can't even have this, huh?" He asked himself quietly, his breath trembling as he pulled the connector out of the back of his neck and slowly attempted to pull himself to his feet, falling forwards and knocking over his toolbox with an almighty crash that echoed out through the basement. Anyone nearby would have heard it. What would happen next, well. That was anyone's guess. #rp
