And Dragonfly just happens to be in the right place for it? She'd thought that part of her life was left back in the caves with the rest of her family, but the pegasus is all too willing to dredge it back up! Thankfully she'd the time to scrounge enough bits for an outfit. Of sorts. This 'summer' isn't exactly a familiar concept to her, after all! And so Dragonfly steps onto the runway, a smug grin on her lips revealed as a wingtip lifts the rim of her straw sunhat. Polished enough the night before, her coat and tail shimmer under the occasional spotlight like true gold and strands of ruby, giving her the classic Geode appearance of a living statue. Of course, most might dismiss it as fancy coat-care, but it's a striking effect nonetheless, accentuating the curves on the backend and highlighting the fluff beneath her other piece of clothing on the front end! It's a simple open-front shirt, black with silver accents- with little knowledge of summer fashion, Dragonfly had opted to let her natural sunrise colors do most of the work on the theming front! On the way down the runway, all she can really think of is her sister back home. Obsidian was always doing fancy stuff like this, or society parties, or all those other Sunstone family 'occasions'. And so often she'd try to drag the more adventurous pegasus in- usually successfully. It was fun, when it wasn't overly stuffy! Obsidian... Probably wouldn't enjoy this 'summer' thing, though. She liked fancy dresses, accessories, that kind of thing. Covering up as much as she could. Dragonfly was never quite sure why, Obsidian was just as pretty as her namesake! But Obsidian wasn't here, and this wasn't some high-society event. Meeting the end of the runway, she strikes a pose. Turned halfway around, wingtip holding her hat tilted to cover one eye, grinning over her shoulder as her tail wraps around her hindleg. Hold, two, three, a flick of her tail and her wingtip against the hat before she turns back to walk up the runway. Halfway up she pulls down her hat on one side and winks to an audience member she saw staring earlier. And then she's gone! She doesn't stick around after her showing to watch the other competitors. She'll come back for the announcement of winners, but she was always here to have fun more than to really do well. #faceofsummer
